Jesse James Baugus, 28, of Lebanon, passed away Dec. 20, 2022.

He was born June 22, 1994, in Lebanon to Jonathan Michael and Karen Lynnette (Thompson) Baugus.

Jesse grew up in Cascadia and Sweet Home. He graduated from Sweet Home High School.

Jesse married his first wife, Kayla Nicole, at 17 years old and they have three beautiful children: Jessa (11), Kaiden (10) and Jonathan (8).

He later went on to marry his wife of three years, Kayla Rae, and had Grayson who is 21 months old.

Jesse was just all-around amazing.

If weather permitted, you could always find him outside – fishing with his friends, lazy days at the lake with the kids, camping with his family or playing in the river with his brothers and cousin.

As long as he was surrounded by his friends or family, you would always find him with a smile on his face.

He always had a way to lighten any mood, he always found a way to make you smile no matter what. There is far too much to say about his 28 years to fit in one small paragraph.

Jesse is survived by his wife Kayla; daughter Jessa; sons Kaiden, Jonathan and Grayson; brothers Weston Thompson, Steven Baugus, and Russell Anderson; sisters Courtney Garroutte and Aundrea Qulkenbush; father Jonathan Baugus; and mom Brandy Baugus.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Baugus; grandmother Joyce Baugus; grandfather Johnny Baugus; aunt Lisa and uncle Les Bone.
