A motor-vehicle crash was reported at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the intersection of 18th Ave. and Long St. (seen in the first photo)

According to police, Audrey Ann May Shaffer, 16, of Eugene, ran a stop sign while traveling northbound in a Toyota Yaris at the intersection, crashing into another vehicle.

Shaffer was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Earlier that day, at around 1:37 p.m., Calvin Steward, 72, of Sweet Home, crashed a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe into a parked 2003 Chevrolet Silverado while traveling westbound at the 1200 block of Main St. (second photo)
