Boys basketball: Huskies take 3A team Pleasant Hill to wire before falling in overtime

On Friday, Sweet Home boys basketball lost a close overtime game to Pleasant Hill, a team ranked no. 5 in the state in 3A. The Billies beat the Huskies 58-56 in Sweet Home, moving to 11-1 on the season while the Huskies fell to 1-10.
Pleasant Hill was up 29-22 at halftime before the Huskies clawed back into the game, winning the third quarter 14-11 to push the score to 40-36 Pleasant Hill. By the end of regulation, the Huskies had tied the game, and their defense held the Billies from scoring in one last possession, sending the game to overtime at a 50-50 score.
