Carolyn Faye Propps, 74, of Sweet Home, died Feb. 4, 2023, in Corvallis.
She was born July 28, 1948, in Elwood, Ind., to Hubert Wesley and Alice Faye (Phillips) Slayton.
She lived in Pendleton, Ind. before moving to Sweet Home in 2010.
Mrs. Propps was a member of the Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was disabled for the last 30 years.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Middleton, and niece, Julie Peterson, both of Washington.
Mrs. Propps was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Kaye Propps in 2021; parents Hubert and Alice Slayton; and brothers Richard Slayton and Hubert W. Slayton Jr.
A private burial will take place at Gilliland Cemetery.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
