William “Bill” Patrick Harris, 60, of Sweet Home, died Feb. 10, 2023, of complications from Guillain Barré Syndrome, with his mom was at his side.
He was born Aug. 18, 1962, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., to William Kenneth Harris and Patricia Lee (Johnson/Harris) Willis.
In 2010 Bill, also nicknamed Cobra, settled in Oregon.
Mr. Harris lived his life as he wanted. He had a good heart, was loyal, a protector of those in need, and helped others insofar as he was able.
He served in the United States Marine Corps, took interest in computer repairs, and was employed as a home maintenance and grounds keeper.
His hobbies included collecting lighters, knives and skele- tons. And he loved art and was very good with his freehand drawing skills.
Mr. Harris is survived by his son, Nathan Allen Harris of Columbus, Ohio; daughter Emilee Irene Harris of Findley, Ohio; mother Patricia Willis of Lebanon; sister Theresa Irene Harris Rapley of Lebanon; brothers Steven Wayne Harris of Ludowici, Ga., Gary James Willis and Patrick Garrett Wood of Albany, and Kristopher Samuel Wood of Sweet Home; five grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Kenneth Harris.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
