The New Era - All about Sweet Home since 1929

Sweet Home medics and Linn County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to this crash Thursday afternoon, Feb. 23.

Details were incomplete at press time, as the Sheriff's Office had not yet responded to a request for information.

Fire Chief Nick Tyler said one person was transported to a local hospital. He said conditions were icy – it was 29 degrees on his truck thermometer, with added wind chill, but he said he was unsure how, exactly, the crash occurred.
