A Sweet Home man escaped serious injury Friday afternoon, March 24, when he lost control of the Ford Ranger pickup he was driving on a curve and rolled into a ditch on Highway 228 near near Milepost 19 and Greenville Road, according to Oregon State Police.
Shaw Jerred Valentine, 33, of Sweet Home, was cited for two warrants and for driving while suspended.
The truck was also uninsured, according to OSP. It was towed.
