Brownsville man arrested for 2021 burglary at Sweet Home church

Sweet Home police arrested a Brownsville man Tuesday morning, April 11, in connection with a 2021 burglary at the Elm Street Baptist Church.
According to the Sweet Home Police Department, officers were dispatched to a Brownsville residence to contact Anthony Dale Williams Jr., who was 19 at the time of the April 2021 incident. An initial investigation identified the suspect through forensic evidence collected at the scene and processed at the Oregon State Police Crime Lab, police said.
Williams was arrested without incident, police said. He was then charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, interviewed by a detective and taken to the Linn County Jail.
