Still looking to get into the win column for the first time this season, Sweet Home's baseball team was swept by Philomath in a two-home one-away series last week, falling in two of the games by just one run.

Sweet Home lost the first game of an April 13 doubleheader at home 9-8 to the Warriors, then dropped the second game 22-11. Two days later, Sweet Home lost on the road to Philomath 3-2, falling to 0-9 on the season, while the Warriors improved to 8-3.
