Sweet Home faced a Stayton team that is undefeated in the Oregon West Conference on back-to-back days last week and came out on the losing end, falling to the Eagles 11-1 on the road on Wednesday and 16-1 at home on Thursday.
In the first game, which was called after 4.5 innings due to the 10-run rule, Stayton (12-4, No. 6) outhit Sweet Home 8-3, and the Huskies committed two errors to the Eagles' one.
Kaden Zajic started on the mound for the Huskies, pitching one and a third innings and allowing three earned runs on no hits and three walks.
