Huskies beat Cascade 12-9 for first OWC baseball win

The ball finally bounced in the Sweet Home baseball team's favor last Thursday, as the Huskies beat a Cascade team that they had previously lost two games to that week by a score of 12-9.
The win was the first of the season for Sweet Home (1-17) and broke a losing streak of 19 games that started on May 11 of last year.
In the win, Sweet Home's bats saved a poor defensive outing in which the Huskies committed six errors while their opponents were perfect in the field. Sweet Home outhit Cascade 12-8, and was up 12-3 going into the final inning, enough of a cushion to still hold on as the Coug...
