Susan Jeanette Dow, 63, of Sweet Home, died May 1, 2023.
She was born Sept. 18, 1959, in Ellingham, Ill., to Harry Boyd Jr. and Betty (Lewis) Dow Jr.
She moved at a young age with her family from Ellingham to Sweet Home. She graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1978.
Ms. Dow enjoyed spending time outdoors, rock hounding, exploring local rivers, and visiting the Oregon Coast. She loved animals.
Ms. Dow is survived by her sons, Chris Mink and Tyler Mink, both of Sweet Home; sisters Diane Templeton and Teresa Dow, formerly of Sweet Home and now of Rainier; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Cleona and Harry Boyd Dow Sr.; and sister Connie (Dow) Griffith.
