The New Era - All about Sweet Home since 1929

Sweet Home's girls didn't place at the 4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 2 golf championship held May 8-9 at the McNary Golf Club.

But Huskies Abby Logan and Hanna James, both rookies to competitive golf, not only completed their first 18-hole rounds of the season, but both improved dramatically in doing so.

Hogan shot 143-127-270 over the 36-hole event and James finished with 153-146-299. Both are juniors who took up the game this year.
