Allison Griffin, in the first photo, cuddles Bailey, a lionhead rabbit that she brought along to Saturday morning's Rabbit Run at Sankey Park in Sweet Home. Griffin, who operates Albany-based Jade Rabbit Small Animal Rescue, which focuses primarily on rescuing unwanted or feral domestic rabbits, was there to connect with local residents who showed up for the run, the brainchild of City Manager Kelcey Young.

About 30 people participated in the event, which raised money for a community garden project in the works for Sweet Home.
