Greenhand members of Sweet Home High School's FFA chapter are certified in a ceremony held in the high school Commons. The Greenhand FFA degree is awarded to ninth-grade or older members who learn about the FFA history, mission, creed and emblem and make plans for a Supervised Agricultural Experiences project.

The Sweet Home chapter of Future Farmers of America has accomplished and seen a lot over the last few months.
First, we attended the March 16-19 Oregon FFA State Convention in Redmond, where we received our chapter's charter, a huge achievement.
Then we participated in the April 27 Upper Willamette District Field Day at the Lebanon Land Lab with our poultry, meats, and milk products teams. We earned seven placement banners, which included second place in advanced poultry, third in advanced and beginning meats, second in advanced milk products, and...
