Timothy Shipp
Timothy Charles Shipp, 69, of Sweet Home, died May 25, 2023, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis after a long battle with heart disease.
He was born March 1, 1954, in Sweet Home to Doyle V. and Evelyn E. (Jones) Shipp.
Mr. Shipp graduated in 1972 from Sweet Home High School and got his pilot's license in 1979. He had a small business named Oregon Gold, selling Oregon maple burls internationally.
He had a wicked sense of humor, which many will remember him by.
Mr. Shipp is survived by his son, Eric Shipp of Sweet Home; a grandson, of Bend; sisters Sharon Forsell of Keizer and Robin Shipp of Albany; and brothers David Shipp of Murrysville, Pa., and Kevan Shipp of Albany.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
