Information on special education

Per federal law, children with special needs have a right to special education.

Disabilities could include physical impairments, chronic illness, intellectual disabilities, hearing and vision difficulties, speech or language impairments, or learning disabilities.

If the child is of school age, contact the Lebanon School District at (541) 259-8930. If the child is aged birth through 5 years and lives in Linn County, contact the Linn and Benton County Early Intervention Program at (541) 704-4025.

Referrals may be made at any time. There is no cost.
