Firefighters mop up a brush fire that was apparently ignited near the railroad tracks on 47th Avenue Sunday evening.
The Sweet Home Police Department is investigating the cause of a brush fire that burned one-quarter of an acre Sunday afternoon, June 25, north of the railroad tracks near 47th Avenue and Osage Street.
According to a SHPD release, officers heard via radio Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District and Oregon Department of Forestry personnel responding to the scene, which, as per PulsePoint, was reported at around 3:17 p.m.
