Tom Russell York, 63, of Sweet Home, died June 19, 2023.
He was born Jan. 17, 1960, in Northridge, Calif., to Joan (Clohesey) and Russell York. He grew up in Northridge.
Mr. York was an electrician by profession and spent most of his career in that field.
He was a kind and generous man with a big heart. He loved animals and the outdoors, spending much of his free time fishing, watching football, and target shooting. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. York is survived by his brothers, Dave, Mike, Greg and Jeff; his sister, Kathy Coughlin; nieces Christina Sachdev, Ashley and Diana York; and his nephews, Justin and Christopher York.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan York; and his father Russell York.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
