The New Era - All about Sweet Home since 1929

Class of 2023 Sweet Home graduate Evan Towry has hit the ground running in his post high school soccer career this summer.

Towry, a four-year starter and three time All League Honorable Mention winner at goalkeeper for the Huskies, was a member of the Eugene Metro Futbol Club "Marseille" Premier team that played their way to the U.S. Youth Soccer Far West Regional Quarterfinal round in Boise, Idaho from June 22-29. The Metros earned their invitation to the tournament by winning a qualifying tournament in December.
