Trent Harvey, an incoming ninth grade student at Sweet Home High School, was named MVP of the NBC Offensive Attack Basketball Camp, which took place from July 20-22 at George Fox University in Newberg. Fellow incoming freshman Gavin Tyler was a member of the camp's championship team. Other incoming SHHS freshmen that attended the camp were Kaeson Walker, Daniel McCubbins, and Hunter Lee. The camp was also attended by rising Sweet Home eighth graders Kyler Bondesen, Zeplin Berg, Mason Tyler and Damon Lawrence.
