Kitty Thornton's buffalo, Sally, got loose and roamed the streets in the middle of the night. It was corralled outside the city on 10th Avenue with the help of city police, state police and a deputy sheriff. The animal was herded for three hours in an attempt to prevent her from entering Main Street, but she went through several yards during the incident.
A Brangus bull purchased from C.S. "Joe" Somatis will be the first of its kind from the U.S. to be shipped to China. The animal, "J Boukolos 22," otherwise known as Jack, weighed 70 pounds at birth, and reached 1,145 pounds...
