Girls soccer looks to notch victories, welcomes new faces

Sweet Home girls soccer will hope to find the back of the net and the win column this season, despite a fair amount of inexperience. The Huskies hope to improve upon their 2-10-2 record last season, including a 1-8-1 mark in league play.
Head Coach Ramiro Santana said there's a lot of new people on the team, including six or seven girls coming out who have never played the game before.
That inexperience could prove costly in a strong Oregon West Conference. "It's really hard for us to compete against those types of schools," Santana said of the league opponents.
