Fire behind Sweet Home Bi-Mart

The Sweet Home Police Department, Sweet Home Fire District and Oregon Department of Forestry all responded to a small brush fire just north of BiMart, 1980 Main St., on Sept. 21. Police assisted in evacuating store employees from the building. During the evacuation, SHFD and ODF personnel worked on extinguishing the fire. No damage was done, and no one was injured. The SHPD will be investigating this as a possible crime.
