Miersma too much for Sweet Home girls soccer

The Sweet Home girls soccer team fell to 0-4 on the season with a 7-0 loss on the road against Western Christian on Thursday, Sept. 14.
Despite the result, Head Coach Ramiro Santana said it was the best game the Huskies have played this season.
“We got beat by one girl, not the whole team,” he said. That one girl was sophomore Haley Miersma, who scored six of the Pioneers’ seven goals.
Santana noted how Miersma’s speed overwhelmed the Huskies.
