First win of the season for girls soccer

Sweet Home girls soccer earned its first win of the season on Thursday, Sept. 21, beating divisional rival Stayton 3-1 at Husky Field. The win put Sweet Home at 1-4 on the season, while Stayton moved to 1-5.
Sweet Home scored its first goal in the 13th minute when junior forward Kirsten Sautel found the back of the net off of a corner kick from junior midfielder Peyton Markell.
The Huskies' second goal came in the 35th minute when sophomore forward Anabelle Morris found the back of the net.
Then Stayton answered with a goal of their own in the 16th minute of the second half to put the game...
