Girls soccer falls to Newport

The Sweet Home High School girls’ soccer team lost their Tuesday, October 17 match with Newport 8-1. It’s a slight improvement from their midseason match up with the Grizzlies that went 8-0.
It was a tough senior night on the road, Thursday, October 19, when the team lost 8-0 to Philomath. The Warriors scored six goals in the first half, before scoring two more in the second. The team played North Marion for the final game of the season on Tuesday, October 24.
