Tabitha Rae Cook, 56, of Sweet Home, passed away October 12, 2023 from heart related issues.
Tabitha was born in Portland, daughter of Milo Robert Cook Jr. and Linda Rae Elavsky.
When Tabitha was seven years old her mother, Daniel Mulvanny, and three siblings moved to Sweet Home, in 1974.
Our first home as a family was Cascadia Village Apt.28. At the time of Tabitha’s passing, she lived in the same complex #17 where she lived for 11 years.
Tabitha went to Hawthorne grade school where she meets, Sandi Lovely Thompson, her best friend for life, they both got matching butterfly tattoos on the same wrist a few months before her passing. Tabitha had too many numerous friends to mention.
After high school she worked at the fish cannery in Alaska for the summer, McDonalds, Glenns market, mini mart/gas station in Crescent City, OR. Plus other jobs.
She has lived in Albany, Lyons, and Crescent City. She loved trips to the coast, she played Bunko, she tried Bingo but that wasn’t much to her liking. Tabitha’s Grandmother Beatta Edna Stevahn taught her how to make a German dish called Nephlaw and to crochet.
Tabitha was preceded in death by sister Toni Taylor, grandparents Milo and Irene Cook, Beatta Stevhan, Kenneth Elabsky, Uncle Robert Elavsky, Uncle Curtis Cole.
She is survived by her son Mitch Fowler, Daughter Desiree Bartlett and husband Joshua Bartlett, Grandchildren Aubree and Tyson Bartlett. Parents Linda Muvanny, Milo Cook and stepdad Daniel Mulvanny. sisters Christine Gregory, Angelique Grabeel. Michelle (Cook) MacDonald, Brothers Micheal Cook, Dustin Mulvanny, her aunt Karen Borel, her boyfriend Mike Ebbs, Long time family friend Scott Reeder, and Numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life will be in the summer, month and date still need to be determined. Tabitha will truly be MISSED by many!
