Sweet Home woman swatted, police say

Sweet Home police responded to a swatting incident at a home in the 4700 block of Long Street early Friday morning. In a press release, police say a man called at about 1:30 a.m. to report he had killed his wife, and was holding his son hostage while threatening to kill him at the home.
A woman in the home called them as they arrived on scene to tell them she was playing a game online and someone she was playing with threatened to swat her, according to police.
They ask anyone with information to contact Officer Ben Pinnegar at 541-367-5181.
