2 face charges from Spoleto’s heist

Two Sweet Home men face charges related to a November 2017 robbery at Spoleto’s.

Zachary Mitchell Johnson, 24, has been charged with third-degree robbery, second-degree theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle for incidents alleged to have occurred on Nov. 18, 2017, including theft of a cash register and money, a total value of $100 or more.

Johnson was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of methamphetamine for incidents alleged to have occurred on Nov. 19, 2017.

Johnson is in Linn County Jail on charges of unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of a restricted weapon, related to a Feb. 9 search of a Sweet Home residence during which two other people also were arrested.

Logan Kenneth White, 26, and Heather Rachelle Greenwalt, 36, also face charges related to the Feb. 9 search.

Corey Brandon Ford, 24, has been charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree theft for incidents alleged to have occurred on Nov. 18, 2017 at Spoleto’s.

Ford also was charged with second-degree robbery for an incident alleged to have occurred in the winter months in Linn County.

According to court documents, Ford was aided by another person in using or threatening to use physical force upon a person during the alleged incident.

Ford is in prison on a conviction for two counts of identity theft.
