The annual event includes a variety of activities at booths manned by various public service agencies. Among them were Linn County Sheriff’s Office with its marine deputies, the Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District, Public Works, Oregon State Police, the U.S. Forest Service and Sweet Home Police Department. Services included free bike inspections, free bike helmets, free child IDs and document shredding. Employees of OMI, which operates Sweet Home’s water and wastewater treatment plants, cooked hot dogs and provided sodas to visitors.
