Cory Martin and Katie Turner were named Outstanding Defensive Players of the Year and Niccole Simmonds and Gabriel Gunselman were the Outstanding Offensive Players of the Year at the water polo squads’ awards dessert Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Most Improved Players were Jake Johnson for the boys and Cheryl Wilson for the girls.
Team captains, selected by the players, were Derek Jaques and Gunselman for the boys, and Wilson and Simmonds for the girls.
First-year letters went to Elric Benson, Jake Johnson, Josh Liskey, Victor Stupin, Gabriel Gunselman for the boys team and Ketelyn Ikola, Catrina Stengrim and Christina McLean for the girls.
Second-year letter winners were Derek Jaques, Alex Stupin, Cory Martin and Brandon Courteau for the boys, and Niccole Simmonds, Sami Webb, Cheryl Wilson and Katie Turner for the girls.
