Dave and Judy (Carlson) Mumey of Stayton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 7. They were married June 7, 1958 at Crawfordsville Community Church and started life together in Holley while Dave worked at the OK Cut Rate Station in Sweet Home. In 1961 they moved to Mehama and, in 1973, to a 10-acre farm outside Stayton. Both are retired. They have four adult children, three daughters and a son, who is a police officer in Sublimity. All three daughters are married to pastors. The Mumeys have 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They celebrated their golden anniversary at New Hope Foursquare Church in Salem, renewing their vows in a ceremony performed by their son-in-law, Pastor Jim Holm.
