7,000-8,000 fans pack Oregon Jamboree

A crowd estimated at 7,000-8,000 packed the Oregon Jamboree Saturday for a full day of musical entertainment.

Country stars Lila McCann, Tracy Byrd, Sons of the Desert and legend Kenny Rogers brought the crowd to its collective feet under nearly ideal weather conditions.

Concessions were brisk and problems were minimal.

Sunday, with temperatures hovering in the 80 degree range, water sales were expected to be high.

Sunday’s lineup includes:

1 p.m.: Double Trouble

2:30 p.m.: Amy Clawson

4:15 p.m.: Berry, Bogguss and Dean

6:15 p.m.: Lee Ann Womack

The Oregon Jamboree in Sweet Home is sponsored by the Sweet Home Economic Development Group, Inc. Proceeds benefit local economic development projects.
