Sign-ups for the Sweet Home Mat Club will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 27-29, at the Sweet Home High School Main Gym.
The season for kindergarteners (5-year-olds) through second-graders runs from Nov. 5 through Dec. 3. The eight sessions will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Cost is $45.
The season for third- through sixth-graders will be Nov. 6 through Feb. 3. Practices will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $60.
The maximum fee per family is $100, which does not include the USA Card. Children who have a parent actively serving overseas in the military are allowed to participate for free.
Tournaments are held on weekends at various locations around the state. The Sweet Home Tournament will be on the morning of Nov. 29. All tournaments require a USA Wrestling Federation Card to compete. This is a one-time cost of $40. Wrestling singlets will be issued to those who purchase a USA card on a first-come, first-served basis and must be returned at the end of the season.
