Traffic was delayed early Monday morning on Highway 228 west of Sweet Home after a semi-truck carrying wood chips overturned, officials said. The incident, which scattered a large load of wood chips along the highway’s edge, occurred around 8:00 a.m. but resulted in no injuries.
Fire Chief Nick Tyler of the Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District confirmed the crash was non-injury, stating, “everyone was ok.”
