Crawfordsville will hold its annual Bridge Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at the historic bridge at the corner of Highway 228 and Courtney Creek Drive.
The free event will celebrate the 90th birthday of the bridge, which was built in 1932. It was bypassed by Highway 228 in 1963 and is now maintained by the Linn County Parks & Recreation Department as a pedestrian bridge across the river. Since…
