An alert homeowner saved a house from severe fire damage Sunday morning with an early-morning call to the Fire Department.
Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District personnel were dispatched at 7:18 a.m. to a fire at 43554 Wiley Creek Drive, where they saw smoke coming out of a wall.
