Feb. 2

9:41 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog in the area, 600 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

10:59 a.m. – Jesse David John Martin, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

12:38 p.m. – Caller reported a homeless male urinated on the grass near the dumpster, 1266 15th Ave., old Wells Fargo building. Caller requested that multiple males be trespassed from the property. Officer contacted the male, who denied the activity. Males trespassed.

12:50 p.m. – Caller reported that a sign had been vandalized, 1266 15th Ave., old Wells Fargo building. Report taken.

1:26 p.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 39, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 3000 block of Main. Cited and released.

1:46 p.m. – Tchech Troche, 41, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 5401 Main St., Foster Lake Market. Cited and released.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported a female was harassing customers outside and taking things from people’s shopping bags, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Officer contacted the employee, who requested the female be trespassed.

Feb. 1

6:03 a.m. – Caroline Regina Pearson, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

6:07 a.m. – Kyle Austin Hanscam, 27, and Caroline Regina Pearson, 28, arrested on probable cause for distribution of heroin, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:25 a.m. – Skylar James Samson, 29, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree forgery, Linn County Jail.

12 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet was turned in at Wells Fargo in Albany. Officer attempted to contact the owner, but a neighbor believed the male owner did not live there. Officer also attempted but failed to contact the male’s parents and left a message for them.

4:39 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking all day, which was unusual, 1200 block of 49th. Caller was concerned for the neighbor’s well-being. Officer unable to contact anyone at the residence. Caller advised.

11:05 p.m. – Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

11:28 p.m. – Caller reported his laundry was taken, Cascadia Village. Report taken. Loss valued at $70.

Jan. 31

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog was trying to attack people, 1800 block of 18th. Officer responded. Dog had returned home prior to arrival. Officer contacted the owner, who said the dog escaped a newly built kennel while she was in the shower. She agreed to work on fixing the issue.

10:26 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in the area, 2200 block of Ironwood. Officer responded. Dog would not let the officer approach it. It was not aggressive. Message left at residence of possible owner.

11:13 a.m. – Donna Lyons, 27, arrested for third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 1937 Main St., Dollar General. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:44 a.m. – Ashton Lane Robertson, 18, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, and a 15-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for second-degree criminal mischief, Husky Field. Caller had reported three juveniles attempting to break into the football stand. Damage estimated at $15.

1 p.m. – Caller reported a student making threats to burn down the school when he becomes an adult, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights

Elementary. Officer responded. Juvenile counseled. Information noted.

2:25 p.m. – Andrew Christopher Jones, 23, cited by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft.

2:51 p.m. – Charles Edward Walker Jr., 58, cited for driving while suspended, Highway 20 near Straw Palace.

2:52 p.m. – Caller reported a large tan stray dog on campus, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Dog placed in kennel. Owner claimed animal.

3:49 p.m. – Ashton Lane Robertson, 18, arrested for strangulation, fourth-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct and tampering with a witness, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male staggering down the street, Long and 13th. He walked into a power pole and then staggered into the street. Officer contacted a couple of individuals out and about but was unable to locate the described male.

9:21 p.m. – Caller reported that when she got to the parking lot, she noticed she failed to pay for an item in her cart, 1937 Main St., Dollar General. A male who was behind her in line told her not to worry about it because he paid for it. The caller said he then grabbed her and kissed her on the cheek. Caller said he was very intoxicated. He got into a brown-gold pickup and drove east from the location. Officer unable to locate.

10:02 p.m. – Caller reported that someone shot his vehicle with a BB gun while he was driving by, 44th and Main. Investigation continuing.

Jan. 30

12:12 a.m. – Joseph Aldor Dunham, 41, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

12:54 a.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 24700 block of Brush Creek. No injuries.

4:45 a.m. – Shanelle Marie Ellis, 37, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear; probation violation on original charges of resisting arrest, assaulting a public safety officer and possession of methamphetamine; failure to appear on original charge of harassment; probation violation on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; and failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, and Albany warrant for failure to appear, 221 18th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:07 a.m. – Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Linn County.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported a fence was cut earlier in the week, 1400 24th Ave., Sweet Home Public Works. Report taken.

5:55 p.m. – Caller reported that someone left a bicycle in his yard, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Placed in found property.

6:31 p.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 41600 block of Upper Calapooia. No injuries.

11:46 p.m. – Chavana Ann Bowser, 28, arrested on Sweet home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

Jan. 29

8:48 a.m. – Caller reported loose dogs, 2200 block of Nandina. Officer unable to catch dogs.

9:27 a.m. – Ashton Lane Robertson, 18, cited and released in field for third-degree theft in followup to a previous call, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

11:11 a.m. – Caller reported a bag of bottles taken, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Report taken. Loss valued at $38.

2:16 p.m. – Caroline Regina Pearson, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of heroin, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree theft and driving under the influence; Clackamas County warrant for two counts of identity theft, two counts of second-degree forgery and second-degree theft; and Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Kyle Austin Hanscam, 27, arrested on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for second-degree criminal trespass. Both cited and released. Vehicle impounded.

3:27 p.m. – Drug detection dog alerted to a vehicle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Vehicle seized as evidence.

6:45 p.m. – Caller located a debit card, 890 18th Ave., Sweet Home Senior Center. Placed in found property.

Jan. 28

12:32 a.m. – Caller reported four or five subjects trespassing, 4200 block of Airport. All subjects gone upon officer arrival. Report taken.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported finding syringes, 3rd and Elm. Items seized for destruction.

10:41 a.m. – Caller reported finding a wallet belonging to a female at a gas station in New Mexico. The local police department refused to take the items. Officer contacted the caller by phone. The caller agreed to mail the items to Sweet Home Police Department.

12:09 p.m. – Caller reported a group of people drinking alcohol, 1100 block of 13th. Officer contacted a male and two females who were intoxicated. No evidence of drinking in public. Group advised of the rules for open container.

4:42 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $27.

5:13 p.m. – Karen Lynette Baugus, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany.

5:15 p.m. – Christopher Kirt Edward Kaufman, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Albany.

6:12 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

7:53 p.m. – Ashton Lane Robertson, 18, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, and a 16-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 1200 block of 1st. Robertson cited and released. Juvenile released to parent. Caller had reported her husband chasing three juveniles. One of them was caught inside the caller’s car.

11:55 p.m. – Chase Lee Davis, 28, cited and released on Lebanon warrant for probation violation, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Caller had reported a very large fight in the parking lot that moved inside. Six to eight subjects were throwing punches. Based on the investigation, so far, it appeared to be mutual combat. Investigation continuing.

Jan. 27

10:27 a.m. – Caller reported a customer told her a female with a dog was lying on the ground in the alleyway, behind 1234 Long St., Downtown Lounge. Officer contacted a female in the area. She said she was fine.

12:21 p.m. – Caller reported a female crying loudly in the alley behind The New Era, 1313 Main St. Officer contacted female, who was fine and needed no further assistance.

2:57 p.m. – Caller reported two cattle out in the area, 29500 block of Berlin. Deputy located the cattle and found the owners, who collected the cattle.

3:25 p.m. – Caller reported his headphones were taken, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer responded, located headphones and returned them. The caller did not want to pursue charges.

4:13 p.m. – Benjamin Reuben Pannier, 36, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving and cited for driving uninsured and no license, Long and 23rd. Cited and released. Vehicle impounded. Caller had reported a vehicle did not stop at a stop sign and ran into the caller’s vehicle. Report taken. One male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

7:53 a.m. – Caller reported a minivan with blankets in the windows as if someone were sleeping in it, 401 Main St. Officer contacted a female who agreed to move on.
