Jan. 11

4:05 p.m. – Caller reported unknown suspects stole 25-cent fish food dispensers from the South Santiam Fish Hatchery, 43100 North River Drive.

Jan. 10

3:09 a.m. – Earl Ryan Dodge, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree escape, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Cited and released.

6:37 p.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 38300 block of Crawfordsville Drive. The vehicle was reported stolen, and the driver at the time of the crash was not located. Report taken.

8:07 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen, 25000 block of West Brush Creek. Report taken.

Jan. 9

3:37 a.m. – Joe Wood, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for two counts of failure to appear on original charge of harassment and failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief and Albany warrant for failure to appear, 4420 Main St., O&M Tire. Cited and released.

2:10 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 22nd and Long. No injuries. Officer assisted with exchange of information.

4:21 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s dog got into the caller’s yard, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer contacted the person responsible for the animal and secured it at its residence.

8:17 p.m. – Sunny Sky Stone, 47, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and strangulation, 1100 block of Poplar. Caller had reported a male punching and choking her. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:14 p.m. – Caller reported a chainsaw taken from a detached garage, 400 block of Juniper. Report taken. Loss valued at $330.

Jan. 8

6:38 a.m. – Christopher Matthew Johnson, 41, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear and a new charge of possession of methamphetamine, 1400 block of 53rd. Cited and released. Caller had reported someone parked near her driveway. The person was slumped over, possibly sleeping.

8:22 a.mm. – Caller reported a vehicle with all flat tires had been parked on the street for a week, 4th and Juniper. Vehicle posted for removal.

1:26 p.m. – Caller reported a male camped in front of the building, 1266 15th Ave. Officer unable to locate anyone in front of the building.

2:09 p.m. – Caller turned in a purse she found at Sweet Home Gleaners, 3031 Main St. Officer attempted to contact the property owner, but the phone number had been disconnected. Purse placed in found property.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, Long and 22nd. No injuries. Damage less than $2,500. Officer assisted in exchange of information.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported dogs loose in the area for a couple of hours, 2400 block of Harding. Caller was able to catch one. Officer responded and caught the other. Dogs placed in kennel. Photo posted to social media.

6:43 p.m. – Caller reported a female violated a stalking order and refused to leave after being asked by staff, All Star Pizza. Female gone upon arrival. Report taken.

7:31 p.m. – Subject escaped custody, 4500 block of Main. Report taken for third-degree escape and providing false information to a police officer.

10:38 p.m. – Ian Buczko, 33, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 700 block of 1st Ave. Caller had reported his father caught his brother smoking and slapped his brother in the face.

Jan. 7

2:27 a.m. – Tyler Paul Dean Malloy, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Independence.

11:01 a.m. – Caller reported someone used her debit card information, 1000 block of 13th. Information noted.

1:31 p.m. – Catherine Jean Hampton, 29, cited for no license, driving uninsured and failure to wear a seatbelt, 3000 block of Main.

1:44 p.m. – Michael Eric Clendenen, 37, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Main and 56th and cited for driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle, Main and 56th. Cited and released.

5:28 p.m. – A 16-year-old female referred to Juvenile Department for hit and run, careless driving and operating outside of provisional license restrictions, 12th and Tamarack. Caller had reported a white Toyota crashing into a fence and leaving the location.

Jan. 6

2:09 p.m. – Mandy Michelle House, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation and Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court and cited for driving while suspended, Main and 19th.

2:59 p.m. – Amanda Dawn Teoli, 43, cited for no license, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

4:29 p.m. – Caller reported that he is purchasing a residence. He found that someone broke in through the back door and located a female playing piano inside on various occasions, 2200 block of Long. Officer contacted the caller. He requested the female be counseled.

Jan. 5

12:11 p.m. – Michelle Dawn Slay, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Prineville.

12:45 p.m. – Felisia Krystal Kay Pecue, 28, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of driving while suspended, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and a criminal citation and a Lebanon warrant for probation violation; Michael Scott Seiber, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to report for incarceration; and Cameron Michael Wark, 30, arrested on Linn County warrants for three counts of failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Seiber transported to Linn County Jail. Pecue and Wark cited and released.

2:10 a.m. – Caller reported her son came home stating he was in a fight and hit with a bat, 2400 block of Long. Information noted. Officer to forward information to city attorney for review.

6:25 a.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 38, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

9:57 a.m. – Eugene James May, 45, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Polk County.

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into her father’s house, 3200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported a truck hit his van while he was stopped at an intersection, 12th and Nandina. Report taken for hit and run. Damage less than $2,500.

4:02 p.m. – Rhonda Rae Babcock, 71, cited for driving uninsured, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Officer located the suspect vehicle from the previous call. Parties agreed to handle the situation civilly.

Jan. 4

1:40 a.m. – Anthony Reeder, 51, arrested on Jefferson County warrant for dangerous drugs, 1300 block of 45th. Transported to Linn County Jail to await transport to Jefferson County.

10:03 p.m. – Caller reporte someone cut a hole in the fence, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.

7;49 p.m. – Caller reported a male lying face down in the grass, Long and 22nd. Unknown if the male was breathing. Officer responded. Medics transported the male to the hospital.

9:38 p.m. – Cynthia Lynn Newson, 57, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, Shea Point. Cited and released.

10:18 p.m. – Colby James Deceve, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1439 Main St., Rio Theatre. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male rummaging through the trash. Officer contacted a male who claimed he had permission from the owner to look for cans.

Jan. 3

1:27 a.m. – Ronald Mowdy, 26, arrested for strangulation (domestic violence), fourth-degree assault and menacing, 3000 block of Main. Caller had reported her son choking her.

9:07 a.m. – Caller found a dog and was unable to contact the owner, 1700 block of Main. Police took custody of the dog and lodged it in the kennel. Owner contacted police to report the dog missing. Owner advised. Dog returned to owner.

1:26 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 55, cited and released on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Main and Clark Mill.

2:09 p.m. – Caller reported two males stealing from the store on Dec. 27, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Theft spotted in surveillance footage. Report taken. Losses valued at $7.79 and $10. Report taken.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.

4:44 p.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Linn County.

4:46 p.m. – Austin Douglas Akeson, 20, arrested for fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief, 1530 Tamarack St., Tamarack Ridge Estates. Cited and released.

4:47 p.m. – Caller reported receiving two fake $50 bills, Foster Lake Market. Caller had video footage. Report taken.

6:59 p.m. – Frank Archie Thompson, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and possession of meth, 1530 Main St. Cited and released.

7:26 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was damaged at about 4 p.m., according to a note left on her window, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for hit and run.

11 p.m. – Caller reported a tree fell onto his home and blocked the roadway, 1400 block of Evergreen. Public Works advised. Residents were fine.

11:58 p.m. – Natasha Funk, 40, arrested for third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

Jan. 2

12:46 a.m. – Cody Michael Lobdell, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Corvallis.

1:16 p.m. – Troy Ray Richards, 49, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Highway 228 near Thriftway. Cited and released.

1:29 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet taken out of a parked vehicle during the night, 29th and Kalmia. Report taken. Loss valued at $160.

7:45 p.m. – Calvin Alvin Ames arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Albany.

Jan. 1

9:58 a.m. – Caller reported two large dogs chasing an elderly couple, 1100 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.

11:43 a.m. – Vehicle posted for removal, 1600 block of 18th.

2:14 p.m. – Caller reported the theft the previous day, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $2.19. Caller requested the female be contacted, counseled and trespass with the theft handle civilly.

2:51 p.m. – Marcus Hesson, 48, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 1300 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Dec. 31

3:27 a.m. – Officer initiated a traffic stop, and a male fled the scene in a vehicle, Pleasant Valley near Main Street. Pursuit terminated at Marks Ridge Road. Report taken for attempting to elude.

10:17 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole fuel during the night, 4600 block of Main. Officer responded and took a report for second-degree criminal mischief. The gas cap on a vehicle was damaged but no fuel taken. Damage estimated at $8.

12:09 p.m. – Chavana Ann Bowser, 28, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft; and Jacob Thomas Salvador, 27, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, 2414 Main St., Dollar Tree. Bowser cited and released. Salvador transported to Linn County Jail.

12:34 pm. – Carson Albert Strasser, 29, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

6:24 p.m. – Medics responded to a report of chest pain, and Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported that the patient ran into a concrete barrier with her vehicle, 1800 block of Main. Officer responded. Female driver evaluated and cleared by medics. No damage to the barrier. Damage less than $2,500 to the vehicle. Vehicle towed by private party.

9:12 p.m. – Caller reported a homeless man staying under an opening at Freedom Hill Church, 2470 Main. St. Caller wanted an officer to make sure the male was OK. Officer responded. The male was doing fine. Male advised he could stay for a short while based on information provided by the caller.

9:26 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of sale or possession of prohibited fireworks and failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, Prineville.

11:12 p.m. – Caller reported illegal fireworks in the area, 3rd near Highway 228. Officer checked area. Unable to locate.

11:53 p.m. – Officer located illegal fireworks possibly being set off by a juvenile, 1000 block of 13th. Officer contacted an adult at the location. The adult said they had no other illegal fireworks. Male said he was aware of fireworks laws and said there should be no further issues at the residence.

Dec. 30

8:13 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered his vehicle, 1000 block of Vista Lane. Caller just wanted information noted.

8:42 a.m. – Caller reported a leaf blower, boots and gas cans stolen, 1000 block of Vista Lane. Report taken. Loss valued at $390.

11:31 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had been staying in a vacant building, 2210 Tamarack St., old mill site. Caller also reported credit cards found in a nearby building. Property seized.

10:48 p.m. – Veronica Szuch, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County.
