Sweet Home police are investigating the death of a Sweet Home man whose body was found near the north end of 24th Avenue Wednesday morning.
According to a department statement, officers responded about 9:20 a.m. On Oct. 16 to the area of the 1400 block of 24th Avenue.
They found the body of a Kevin Ray Porter, 49, about 100 yards from the roadway.
