6:21 a.m. – Caller found a tractor attachment lying in the middle of the road, 43rd and Main. Item too large to fit in patrol vehicle. Public Works advised.
Sept. 29
9:19 a.m. – Caller reported a dog just showed up at his house, 4300 block of Long. Dog placed in kennel. No chip. Posted on social media and Linn County Animal Control advised.
12:55 p.m. – Caller reported her ex was threatening via social media to physically harm her, 4610 Main St. Report taken for harassment by threat.
1:18 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 48, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County.
1:46 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor’s dog was trying to get through her fence to attack the caller, 2200 block of Long. Caller was afraid to be in her backyard. Officer contacted the owner, who was able to secure the dog inside a secondary fence and agreed to work on a better solution.
1:54 p.m. – Obed Pizarro, 32, cited and released in field for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 25000 block of West Brush Creek.
3:53 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor keeps allowing his dog to defecate in her yard, 100 block of Highway 228. Officer contacted the owner and warned him for keeping a dog as a public nuisance. Caller advised to call code enforcement if there are further issues.
3:58 p.m. – Nikkolas Jeffrey Long, 25, cited for driving uninsured, 1540 Main St., Safeway, in two-vehicle crash. No injuries. Officer assisted with exchange of information.
6:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered a vehicle, causing $200 in damage, and stole a $400 Remington shotgun, 27800 block of Scott Mountain Road. Report taken.
8:30 p.m. – Caller turned in a dog found on North River Drive. No chip or collar. Dog placed in kennel. Information posted to social media.
10:45 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a cougar in his backyard, 4100 block of Osage. Officer unable to locate.

6:24 a.m. – Caller reported that the neighbor’s three dogs bark all hours of the day, 1800 block of Elm. Officer responded. Dogs were barking. Officer unable to contact the owner but would try again.
9:33 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her house and stole several items, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $275.
11:31 a.m. – Caller reported her son’s bicycle stolen, 100 block of 7th. Report taken. Loss valued at $98.
11:40 a.m. – Caller reported a customer attempting to pay with a fake $100 bill, 1203 Long St., Mr. Lucky’s Deli. Report taken. Investigation continuing. Male trespassed from the store.
12:15 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone in the road, Main and Pleasant Valley. Item placed in found property.
12:26 p.m. – David Andrew Meyer, 58, cited for no license and driving uninsured in a two-vehicle crash, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Caller had reported a vehicle ran into her vehicle. No injuries. Report taken.
2:55 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female keep leaving trash on the property, and they had been kicked out of the dumpster area twice during the day, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Officer contacted and trespassed the subjects.
3:27 p.m. – Caller reported several children wearing boxing gloves and preparing to fight at Upper Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Officer contacted 15 juveniles who were mutually sparring with each other. Officer advised them to take the activity home.
5:21 p.m. – Caller reported her plates were stolen from her vehicle, 600 block of 12th. Report taken.
6:21 p.m. – Caller reported four juveniles taking shopping carts to the skate park and pushing them off ramps before leaving on foot. Safeway manager advised of the location of the carts.
7:16 p.m. – Caller reported 15 teenagers down at the river access, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows, and they might be up to no good. Officer contacted a group of individuals who were about to start sparring with each other. They were advised to return to their respective residences and avoid the activity in the future.
8:20 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a male steal cans from his neighbor’s house, 1600 block of Fir, and when the caller yelled at the male, he dropped the cans and ran. Officer unable to locate the male.
9:23 p.m. – Andrew Freitag, 18, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, Osage and 41st.

2:33 a.m. – Jonathan Edward Marsh, 30, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured and arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, Ames Creek and Mountain View.
7:50 a.m. – James Robert Warrington, 40, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Caller had requested a welfare check on two transients sleeping in the park. Officer advised them of their options and encouraged them to move along.
8:17 a.m. – Officer located a female trespassing on library property, 1101 13th Ave, Sweet Home Public Library. Female excluded from all city property for 30 days.
11:15 a.m. – Caller reported a backpack and its contents stolen from the front porch, 2400 block of Harding. Report taken. Loss valued at $62.
11:18 a.m. – Caller reported an ongoing issue with a female sleeping in Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Officer contacted the female and issued her a 30-day exclusion from the park.
1:35 p.m. – Caller reported transients were camped at 933 Main St., and the caller wanted them trespassed. No one at location.
2:55 p.m. – Carlos Adrian Ibarra, 20, cited for speeding, 33 mph in a 20-mph school zone, Skyline Inn Restaurant.
2:57 p.m. – Britney Leanne Warren, 29, cited for driving uninsured, 40th and Main.
3 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 23rd and Cedar. Officer unable to locate.

8:58 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup driven by a male rear-ended her vehicle and left, 1200 block of Main. Report taken.
9:52 a.m. – Elisha Marie Adams, 38, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 1951 12th Ave. Transferred to Lebanon Police Department.
9:53 a.m. – Caller reported that someone left without paying for fuel, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.
10:12 a.m. – Paul Richard Landers, 63, arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, 1951 12th Ave. Cited and released.
10:16 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dogs get out and go into her yard, 1200 block of Riggs Hill, and one was currently loose. Officer responded. The owner was out looking for the dog and contained it.
10:39 a.m. – Caller reported a dog was loose and aggressive to other dogs, 300 block of 7th. Officer contacted the owner, who was fixing the issue so the dog could not get out.

3:05 p.m. – Caller reported that a 10-year-old urinated on her 6-year-old son two days earlier and on Sept. 26 chased her son and yanked his backpack, saying he was going to kill him, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer contacted involved parties. Juvenile counseled and schools advised.
4 p.m. – Bradley Allan Hilburn, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of hit and run, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

7:36 a.m. – Christopher Alan May, 16, cited for speeding, 38 mph in a 20-mph school zone, 2400 block of Main.
7:46 a.m. – Donald Ray Watkins, 55, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of negotiating a bad check, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
7:58 a.m. – Frank Allan Stiers, 72, cited for speeding, 38 mph in a 20-mph school zone, Coffee Hut.
8:30 a.m. – Caller found a loose dog at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Dog placed in kennel. Owner notified.
8:36 a.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.
10:51 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs running around the neighborhood chasing cats, 1300 block of Quince. Officer advised the owner of the dog about the complaint. The owner was working on resolving the issue.
1:25 p.m. – Caller reported someone was camped on her property, 1200 block of 15th, and she wanted them trespassed. Officer contacted and trespassed a female.
3:31 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke a window, worth $200, in a vacant residence and stole carpet worth $400, 40100 block of Highway 228.
6:01 p.m. – Caller reported a group of juveniles on the gym roof, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights. Officer contacted two, counseled them and released them to a responsible person.
6:11 p.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle collision, 18th and Long. Officer responded. Damage less than $2,500. Parties exchanged information. No injuries. No citations.
9:18 p.m. – Caller reported an elderly male walking in the middle of the roadway, 27000 block of Fern Ridge. Medics responded and transported the male to a nearby residence.
Sept. 24
2:34 a.m. – Caller reported a female talking loudly near her home, waking her up, 13th and Kalmia parking lot. Officer responded. Area quiet upon arrival. Officer contacted a male and female in the area and advised them of the complaint.
7:25 a.m. – Caller reported that children found a syringe near the bus stop, 1500 block of Tamarack, and handed it to an adult. Information noted.
10 a.m. – Caller reported a domestic disturbance, 28700 block of Liberty. Investigation continuing.
10:39 a.m. – Elizabeth Ackerson, 32, arrested on Deschutes County warrant for first-degree theft, and Kendria Wright arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, 41200 block of Highway 228. Ackerson transported to Linn County Jail. Wright transported to Lebanon Municipal Jail.
10:51 a.m. – Caller reported that a female got out of her vehicle and started yelling at the bushes, 890 Main St. She then left the area on foot. Officer located the female, but she refused to answer questions. Vehicle gone upon arrival.
12:15 p.m. – Caller reported that a driver intentionally tried to hit the caller with a vehicle while the caller was in the crosswalk, 15th and Long. Officer counseled the operator of the vehicle. He denied the reported activity.
1:09 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 30, arrested on Linn County warrants for two counts of probation violation on original charge of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear on a criminal citation, 13th and Kalmia. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:21 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 31, cited for consuming alcohol in public and excluded from the library for 30 days, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library.
2:24 p.m. – Caller reported a small child was sitting in the middle of the crosswalk and refusing to move, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights. Officer picked up the child and placed him in his grandmother’s vehicle.
3:51 p.m. – Caller reported her employer was harassing her via telephone, 1200 block of 12th. Report taken.
4:20 p.m. – John Thomas Gordon, 48, cited on Sweet Home warrant for fialure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County.
4:31 p.m. – Caller reported a female was yelling in front of the library, 1101 13th Ave. Officer warned the female for disorderly conduct.
5:02 p.m. – Caller found a loose dog on her relative’s property, 28800 block of Pleasant Valley. Dog placed in kennel.
6:14 p.m. – Caller found a syringe on the sidewalk, 1200 block of Main. Officer disposed of the item.
8:46 p.m. – Robert Dwayne Pollock, 46, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment.
10:27 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle lying on the ground, old City Hall parking lot, 1140 12th Ave. Owner advised of the location of the property.

11:36 a.m. – Gary Leo House, 28, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance and failure to carry proof of registration, 1700 block of Main.
12:18 p.m. – Caller reported that people broke into her home and tole banking information while she was moving out, 1200 block of 2nd. Report taken.
12:35 p.m. – A 13-year-old juvenile taken into custody for second- and third-degree assault, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Child lodged at Juvenile Detention Center.
1:59 p.m. – Anthony Edward Jackson, 38, arrested for three counts of third-degree theft, 621 Man St., Thriftway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male taking beer and drinking it in the restroom.
2:02 p.m. – Caller reported a male was in the parking lot yelling at staff members and clients, 1200 block of Long Street. Officer warned the male of the possible consequences, and he agreed to leave the area.
2:55 p.m. – Caller reported a deer was dying in her backyard, 3400 block of Juniper. Officer responded and dispatched the animal. Public Works advised.
3:25 p.m. – Scott Kevin Heinz, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of a controlled substance, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:30 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole several bags of items from the store, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Officer contacted the caller, who just wanted the male located and trespassed.
5:15 p.m. – Caller reported a dog was hanging around his house, 1400 block of Westwood. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control advised.
5:28 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbors were using another neighbor’s dumpster without permission, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer contacted the neighbor and warned her for theft of services. She said she just moved there and was unaware she could not use the dumpster. She said she would discontinue immediately.
6:08 p.m. – Caller reported that someone kicked down his fence, 300 block of Strawberry Loop. Report taken.
