12:14 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

2:43 a.m. – William Lee McDaniel, 54, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft and a criminal citation. Cited and released.

Sept. 8

5:01 a.m. – Caller reported a tree blocking the northbound lane, 29100 block of Pleasant Valley. Road Department cleared the tree from the road.

10:51 a.m. – Officer located an abandoned vehicle, 300 block of Highway 228. Posted for removal.

12:33 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs continue to roam the neighborhood, 100 block of 8th. Officer contacted owners and warned them for dog at large.

2:43 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of reckless driving, Eugene.

2:43 p.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported that someone removed “no trespassing” and “warning, you’re on camera” signs, 1200 block of 44th. Information noted at caller’s request. Caller also requested that a juvenile male be trespassed from the location.

3:32 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog got out again and the caller had the dog, 100 block of 8th. Dog returned to the owner’s friend. The owner was at the store purchasing items for a kennel.

7:02 p.m. – Caller reported a female lying in the roadway and shaking, 1100 block of 13th. She was barefoot and soaking wet. The caller was concerned for her. Officer unable to locate. Officer contacted two males, who said they hadn’t seen a female in the area.

8:02 p.m. – Caller reported a female running in the street in only a bra and underwear, 12th and Main. Officer unable to locate.

8:54 p.m. – Caller reported the wife of a male patient may be abusing him, 1200 block of Mountain Fir. Information noted and forwarded to Adult Protective Services.

Sept. 7

12:46 a.m. – Caller reported a male knocked on her door and said someone was outside with a gun, and a second caller reported a male came into her house and said someone was pointing a gun at him, 400 block of Nandina. Officer contacted the male, who appeared to be hallucinating. Officer provided him a courtesy transport to his residence.

1:22 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was intoxicated and driving up and down her street, 3900 block of Osage. She asked him to slow down, and he started yelling at her. Officer contacted both parties. They agreed to stay separated. No sign of impairment.

3:39 a.m. – Vicky Lynn Mankin, 61, cited for driving without a license, Main and 23rd.

10:29 a.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp, 44600 block of Highway 20. A male and female had pulled over due to being tired. They set out a tent and slept. They saw no blocking gate and stayed off to the side. They did not have a fire or any source of flame. They cleared the camp and removed trash they claimed was not theirs. They were warned for trespassing.

10:50 a.m. – Officer mediated a situation where subjects were confrontational regarding a dog bite that had occurred, 1099 Long St., Sweet Home Fire Hall.

12:21 p.m. – Daniel Garrett, 38, arrested for restraining order violation and second-degree theft, and Kimberly Winney, 48, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of assault, 4143 Osage St. Garrett transported to Linn County Jail. One caller had reported a physical disturbance. A second caller had reported a male running toward a trail saying he was stabbed and then came back saying he wasn’t.

12:57 p.m. – Alesia Gibson, 58, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended in motor vehicle collision, 621 Main St., parking lot of Thriftway. No injuries.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported that a male and female continue to run up to customer vehicles, scaring them, 2301 Main St., Taco Time. Caller wanted them told to leave customers alone and that they are not to use restrooms at the location. Officer advised the two of the caller’s wishes, and they said they understood.

4:24 p.m. – Robert John Culver, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Cottage Grove.

7:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male running around throwing garbage and banging on the building, 3000 block of Main. Officer contacted a male, who picked up his stuff and moved on.

7:36 p.m. – Caller reported a male trying to jump into traffic and pushing someone off a bicycle, 3000 block of Main. Officer advised the male to stay out of traffic.

9:33 p.m. – Caller reported that a female against whom she has a stalking order just called and yelled at her, 1900 block of 19th. Officer contacted both parties. Investigation continuing.

10:25 p.m. – Jacob Lynn Goodwin, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.

10:37 p.m. – Tami Kay White, 61, cited for driving while suspended in motor vehicle collision, Main and Highway 228. No injuries.

11:05 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle rolled into his yard, 1800 block of Long. Report taken. Vehicle towed.

11:21 p.m. – Cameron Neal Hart, 42, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a fight at the location.

Sept. 6

7:30 a.m. – Caller reported a female dragging and yanking a small dog on a leash, south of Main on 18th. Officer contacted the female. The dog appeared uninjured and in good health. Female advised of the complaint.

7:48 a.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found in the 3100 block of Main. Placed in found property.

8:17 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in front of her house for two days, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded but did not post the vehicle for removal at that time. It did not appear to be abandoned. Officer left a business card for contact with the registered owner.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported someone attempted to break into her vehicle causing damage two days earlier, 1100 block of 22nd. Report taken. Damage valued at $500.

9:30 a.m. – Caller reported a great Dane loose in the area, 4th and Juniper. Dog returned to owner. Owner warned for dog at large.

10:20 a.m. – Crystal Dawn Strickland, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of criminal driving while revoked and Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and criminal driving while revoked, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Cited and released.

1:05 p.m. – Andrew James Frei-tag, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Albany.

1:56 p.m. – Caller turned in a driver’s license found at the Foster Lake parking lot off Poplar. Placed in found property.

3:19 p.m. – Caller saw a male abusing a deaf female blue healer, 3500 block of Juniper. Officer counseled the male. Dog was uninjured.

3:26 p.m. – Caller reported being hit by a white Ford pickup, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

5:36 p.m. – Caller found a fanny pack in the bushes by the office doors, Hope Center. Placed in found property.

9:53 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

10:03 p.m. – Caller reported a female walking in the middle of the road making vulgar gestures at people, 5400 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

10:30 p.m. – Weston Donovan Thompson, 28, arrested for second-degree theft, 1364 Main St. Cited and released.

11:05 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking nonstop for the previous two hours, 3200 block of Main. Officer located the owner, who was able to quiet the dogs.

Sept. 5

8:32 a.m. – A 17-year-old male arrested on Linn County warrant for providing false information to a peace officer, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Juvenile Detention Center.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1100 block of Mountain View. Officer contacted the owner. The dog had returned to owner.

11:14 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1100 block of 26th. Dog left the area prior to officer arrival.

11:38 a.m. – Caller reported fraud, 401 Main St., Oregon Jamboree. Information noted.

12:12 p.m. – Joshua Brian Lutz, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of theft of services, Deschutes County.

12:25 p.m. – Officer located a motor vehicle collision, 15th and Long. No injuries. Parties exchanged information.

2:02 p.m. – Caller found a dog, Towne Pump. Dog returned to owner.

2:29 p.m. – Caller reported a young child in a parked running vehicle with no adults around, Dollar Tree. Officer located vehicle. The vehicle was secure and air conditioning was running. Two children were inside. Officer contacted a female adult and counseled her on the dangers of leaving children unattended in a vehicle.

3:02 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a pension check for $200.97 from a mailbox. Report taken.

4:32 p.m. – Danny Ray Roebuck, 65, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in the lobby.

5:55 p.m. – Caller found a dog, 100 block of Osage. Dog placed in kennel.

5:57 p.m. – Caller reported a wire down in the roadway, 800 block of 3rd. A phone line was rolled up on the side of the road upon officer arrival. It was not a hazard. Caller said he would notify the phone company.

6:11 p.m. – Caller found two syringes in different locations, 12th and Redwood. Officer unable to locate any syringes.

6:43 p.m. – Caller reported her nephew stole her purse, 28100 block of Riggs Hill Road. Report taken.

Sept. 4

5:51 a.m. – Caller reported a specialized Enduro bicycle worth $2,500 stolen, 27200 block of Rowell Hill. Report taken.

Sept. 3

12:07 a.m. – Jeremy Kirk Gross, 31, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and two counts of driving while suspended, Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and Albany warrant for contempt of court, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven.

10:41 a.m. – Caller reported a Kodiak Bowflex canvas tent valued at $899 stolen from his barn, 42700 block of Upper Calapooia.

2:22 p.m. – Caller reported that a Meals on Wheels driver backed into her vehicle, 28600 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

4:50 p.m. – Caller reported $2,100 taken out of an account, 39300 block of Crawfordsville Drive.

Sept. 2

2:10 a.m. – Aurora Faye Bechtel, 34, cited for driving uninsured, 13th and Long.

9:38 a.m. – Two callers reported a tire on each of their vehicles were slashed during the night, 1100 block of 18th. Report taken. Neither caller wanted to pursue charges.

9:48 a.m. – Caller turned in a found dog, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Dog placed in kennel.

11:27 a.m. – Caller reported a credit card taken from a porch three days earlier, 1600 block of 12th. Caller received notification there had been nearly $4,000 in charges to the card. Report taken.

11:27 a.m. – Caller reported a $200 Genesis GS29 bicycle stolen from a campsite, River Bend Park, 45900 block of Highway 20.

12:57 p.m. – Caller reported a large dump trailer worth $6,000 stolen, 41600 block of Shady Lane. Further investigation showed a shop building had been burglarized and numerous tools stolen from the building. Report taken.

2:30 p.m. – Caller reported witnessing someone stealing a flag, 600 block of Main. Information noted at caller’s request. The only information on the suspect was that the subject left west on Highway 20 in a motor home.

2:52 p.m. – Caller reported her ex-boyfriend violated a restraining order through social media, 29200 block of Berlin Road. Report taken.

4:58 p.m. – Carl Forsyth, 78, arrested for driving under the influence, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person and hit and run, 4th and Main. Vehicle impounded. Caller had reported a vehicle sideswiping other vehicles.

5:30 p.m. – Tcheche Yvet Troche, 40, arrested on two warrants for failure to appear, 28000 block of Riggs Hill.

10:01 p.m. – Caller reported a wolf running down the street, 1000 block of 42nd. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.

10:27 p.m. – Mark Robert Hamn, 60, cited and released in field on Lincoln County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp.

Sept. 1

12:40 a.m. – Esther Grace Huntington, 38, cited for driving uninsured and cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on second-degree theft, 1st and Nandina.

9:59 a.m. – Caller reported a cell phone taken from his residence, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken.

9:59 a.m. – Heather Nicole Matney, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and fourth-degree assault and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1200 block of 23rd. Cited and released.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking nonstop since 8 a.m. and it has been an ongoing problem throughout the summer, 1200 block of 41st. Officer responded. Dogs were barking. Homeowner did not appear to be home. Business card left with warning for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.

3:26 p.m. – Deputy located three illegal camps and two illegal fires on Ace property, 45900 block of Quartzville.

5:52 p.m. – Caller found a wallet behind Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Placed in found property.

6:51 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen from the group site area, 45900 block of Highway 20. The bicycle was a $2,600 Ghost full suspension mountain bike. Report taken.

7:29 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp, 48900 block of Quartzville. The group cleaned up the camp and moved to a legal location.

9:57 p.m. – Callers reported a dead deer in the middle of the road, 1500 block of 18th. Officer responded. Deer removed from the roadway. Public Works advised.

10:12 p.m. – Jimmy Rodger Varner, 52, cited for driving while suspended, 1200 block of Clark Mill.

Aug. 31

12:26 a.m. – Nicholas Scot Warren, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on three original counts of third-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief, 2405 Main St, 7-Eleven. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:36 a.m. – Matthew Aaron Mosely, 29, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1241 23rd Ave. Cited and released after detox.

5:51 a.m. – Garen Gary Friedman, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Newberg.

9:22 a.m. – Caller found a shopping cart, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Business advised.

9:34 a.m. – Caller reported her sheep were attacked by a dog during the night and at least one had puncture marks, 1000 block of 42nd. Information noted.

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported her ex was collecting belongings and stole several items, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Officer responded. No theft, but report taken for possible restraining order violation.

11:17 a.m. – Kaleb Kimber Banta, 21, arrested for third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and possession of heroin; and Cody Michael Lobdell, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1100 block of 29th. Cited and released.

12:53 p.m. – Caller turned in a found dog, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Dog returned to owner after photo placed on Facebook.

2:43 p.m. – Jordan Newport, 21, cited for careless driving and driving without a motorcycle endorsement, 12th and Kalmia.

3:57 p.m. – Caller reported items taken from his house the previous day, 2200 block of Long. Report taken.

6:05 p.m. – Caller reported a male stopped in the road and urinated, 12th and railroad tracks. Officer unable to locate.

9:46 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was throwing rocks at his house, 3100 block of Main. Officer unable to locate. House was not damaged. Information noted.

10:14 p.m. – Caller reported a missing person, and the caller mentioned he was having an allergic reaction to something, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Medics responded. Male was having mental health issues possibly due to drug use. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

11:27 p.m. – Callers reported loud music coming from a neighbor’s house, 1100 block of Juniper. Officer responded. House was vacant. Music was inadvertently turned on by animals inside the residence. A neighbor was able to go inside and turn it off.

Aug. 30

3:21 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with a fuel can on top of it, 900 block of Alder. Several people got into the vehicle and left. Officer responded. The caller had fuel siphoned from her vehicle. Information noted.

3:46 a.m. – Brian Lee Wynn, 26, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:51 a.m. – Caller reported someone was on her front porch and then ran away when the caller noticed the person, 1400 block of 53rd. Officer unable to locate the subject.

4:03 a.m. – Kenneth Lee Jones, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Lebanon.

4:05 a.m. – Carson Albert Strasser, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

9:43 a.m. – Caller reported property stolen, 28100 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken. Loss valued at more than $100.

9:43 .m. – Luke Buehner, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment and Linn County warrant for contempt of court, 28100 block of Riggs Hill. Cited and released.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported that a trespassed female was back at Thriftway, 621 Main St. Report taken.

11:27 a.m. – Gerrold Rose, 51, cited for failure to wear seatbelt, Main and 13th.

11:38 a.m. – Dylan Elder, 23, cited for failure to wear seatbelt and driving uninsured, west city limits on Highway 20.

12:48 p.m. – Caller reported a fifth-wheel hit the side of the building, 1010 Main St., A&W. Report taken. Damage less than $2,500. Parties exchanged information.

12:51 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered a pickup and stole a stereo, 1000 block of 15th. Report taken.

12:53 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a photo of a dog she purchased and the dog had a bloody face, 3400 block of Juniper. Investigation continuing.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.

3:11 p.m. – Caller reported items taken out of his front yard, 1400 block of 22nd. Report taken. Loss valued at $227.

3:14 p.m. – Caller reported a couple of lawn chairs were stolen a couple of weeks earlier and then saw neighbors with them in their yard, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken and forwarded to the city attorney for review.

3:39 p.m. – Robert Edward Hilliard, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

4:07 p.m. – David James Kamarec, 23, turned himself in on State warrant for parole violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male lying in the street, 18th and Long. Caller helped him to the sidewalk. Officer gave him a courtesy transport to Sweet Home Police Department to rest.

4:41 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs left unattended in a white car, 6th and Ironwood. Officer responded. Windows were down, and dogs were in good condition.

6:23 p.m. – Caller reported a male violated his release agreement, 900 block of 13th. Report taken to be forwarded to the district attorney.

7:17 p.m. – Medics responded to an unconscious person lying on the sidewalk, 1000 block of Main. The intoxicated male went home with a friend.

8:02 p.m. – Caller reported a little black dog showed up, 1800 block of Grape. Dog placed in kennel. Photo posted on Facebook.

11:19 p.m. – Elizabeth Ann Healy, 36, cited for driving uninsured, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven.

11:20 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was looking through her windows again, 4800 block of Main. Male denied the complaint. He was trespassed from the caller’s property.

Aug. 29

8:59 a.m. – Caller reported the driver of a dump truck continues to use a jake brake, Long and 23rd. Officer advised the driver of the complaint. The driver denied the allegation.

9:03 a.m. – Caller reported that the family dog bit her son the previous night, 1700 block of Tamarack. Dog quarantined.

9:38 a.m. – Jay Marsh, 54, cited for failure to wear seatbelt, driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Les Schwab.

9:41 a.m. – Caller reported a black and white dog running around the parking lot, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Dog was home upon officer arrival. Owner warned for dog at large.

10:02 a.m. – Caller reported a dog that appeared to be ill in front of the caller’s residence. Caller was able to locate the owner.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reported that a male who was asked not to return to the location was back, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted the male and reminded him of the trespass.

10:36 a.m. – Caller found a syringe, 1500 block of Main. Officer disposed of it.

11:40 a.m. – Caller found a basketball hoop in front of the caller’s residence, 1300 block of Grape. Officer responded. Hoop to remain on scene and caller to post a photo on a community page.

12:14 p.m. – Paula Garrett, 56, and James Warrington, 40, cited for consuming alcohol in public, next to 898 Main ST.

12:54 p.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 36, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

2:14 p.m. – David Edward McCracken, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Clackamas County.

3:57 p.m. – Betty Banta, 45, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller had located a loose husky. Dog returned to owner.

6:43 p.m. – Caller reported that someone backed a vehicle into the caller’s fence and left the vehicle there, 5500 block of Main. Officer contacted both parties. There was a mechanical issue with the truck. Information exchanged.

7:05 p.m. – Caller reported a female in a white Chevrolet Cobalt tried to run her off the road, eastbound from the 1900 block of Main. Report taken for reckless driving.

7:46 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a disturbance where a male had pointed a firearm at another male, 1200 block of 49th. Report taken.

7:52 p.m. – Caller reported bags of cans stolen, 600 block of Mountain View. Report taken.

8:48 p.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 36, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1502 Main St. Multiple callers had reported a male breaking out a window and bleeding.
