July 21

12:20 a.m. – Caller reported a female pointed a gun at him before leaving the location in his vehicle, 1500 block of 40th. The female still had the gun in her possession when she left. Report taken for menacing and felon in possession of a firearm.

1:34 a.m. – Derrick James Freeman, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Lane County Sheriff’s Office.

2:27 a.m. – While on a traffic stop, a drug detection dog alerted to the presence of a drug odor, 18th and Main. Vehicle searched. Officer located one 5-milligram oxycodone pill. Seized for destruction.

7:29 a.m. – Caller reported her husband never came home after attending a class in Washington, 1000 block of 23rd. Report taken. APB sent to Oregon and Washington law enforcement agencies.

8:16 a.m. – Caller reported catching a female having sexual intercourse on a picnic table, 1000 block of Long St. Caller wanted the female trespassed. Officer contacted and trespassed the female. She was advised to gather her belongings and leave the area.

9:15 a.m. – Deputy contacted a person illegally camped on the northwest shore of Foster Lake and advised the camper to move on, 43300 block of North River.

10:55 a.m. – Caller reported his roommate stole several tools from him, 800 block of 14th. Report taken. Loss valued at $800.

10:59 a.m. – Caller reported the burglary of an unknown number of items, 42200 block of Ames Creek. Report taken.

11:35 a.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 44400 block of North River. A vehicle crashed into a ditch. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. The injuries were more serious than they appeared, but the driver is expected to make a full recovery. Cause of crash unknown, and the investigation is continuing.

4:09 p.m. – Jordan Thomas Nixon, 19, cited for driving uninsured, Main Street at Wiley Creek Bridge.

4:09 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Placed in found property.

4:51 p.m. – Cory Thomas Stafford, 21, cited for driving uninsured, Sun Lane and Highway 20.

5:31 p.m. – Officer located a motor-vehicle collision, 1000 block of Main. Officer assisted in exchange of information.

5:46 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle and generator stolen during the previous three weeks, 1800 block of Tamarack. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,700.

6:46 p.m. – Deputy located a female sitting over the railing of the Pleasant Valley Bridge with a rope tied to the bridge. The other end of the rope had a noose tied in it. At the time, she had not placed the noose around her neck. The female was grabbed and brought over the railing. She told the deputy that she planned to kill herself by hanging. The female went voluntarily to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital for evaluation.

8:22 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog was loose in the area, 300 block of W. Pine. Officer contacted the owner, who brought the dog inside. Owner warned for dog at large.

8:59 p.m. – 17-year-old female taken into custody on Mac-Laren Youth Correctional Facility warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and absconding, 2200 block of Long. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

10:15 p.m. – Deputy located a small campfire with nobody around, 48500 block of Quartzville.

July 20

1:03 a.m. – Gabriel Wayne Redick, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Roseburg.

7:56 a.m. – Curtis Dean Maberry, 63, cited for speeding, 63 mph in a 45-mph zone, Main at Wiley Creek Bridge.

8:15 a.m. – Caller reported a single vehicle crashed into a ditch, 42200 block of North River.

10:13 a.m. – Caller reported a firearm stolen, 800 block of 14th. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

2:30 p.m. – Renee Ruth Carr, 53, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for no insurance, 12th and Long. Cited and released. License plates seized.

3:14 p.m. – Delano Frederick Burch, 76, cited for speeding, 73 mph in a 45-mph zone, Main Street.

3:27 p.m. – Caller found a stray dog, 1300 block of 1st. Dog placed in kennel.

8:56 p.m. – Caller reported that a male and female attacked her sister and her sister’s boyfriend at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. The male and female left on foot. Report taken. Medics evaluated the male victim. He declined transport to the hospital by ambulance.

July 19

6:58 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1700 block of Long. Dog placed in kennel. Dog Control notified.

11:04 a.m. – A 17-year-old juvenile taken into custody on a Mac-Laren Youth Correctional Facility warrant for absconding, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Juvenile transported to Oak Creek Detention Facility.

12:38 p.m. – Caller reported her purse stolen from her car, 600 block of Main. Report taken.

1:52 p.m. – Caller reported a female in the door of the building messing with things, 1105 Main St., old T&M Pizza. Female located off property and advised to stay away from location.

2:12 p.m. – Caller reported a lock cut off a water meter, 400 block of Elm. Investigation continuing.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported she believes someone intentionally killed a cat, 2200 block of Main. Caller reported prior to officer arrival that she was able to determine that a raccoon killed the cat and requested the officer disregard.

3:28 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp on Quartzville Road near milepost 23. Occupand had stayed beyond the 14-day limit and was advised to leave.

4:12 p.m. – David Arroyo-Sandoval, 38, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 5000 block of Osage. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male crossing her property although he had been told not to trespass multiple times.

4:13 p.m. – Deputy removed one illegal camp with a fire at Rocky Top Bridge, 51100 block of Quartzville.

5:30 p.m. – Caller found a phone, Highway 20 near Shea Point. Placed in found property.

7:22 p.m. – Donald Wayne Ames Jr., 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on two original charges of possession of meth and original charge of delivery of heroin, Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation and Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and misdemeanor driving while suspended; and Earl Ryan Dodge, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree escape, 1200 block of 12th. Ames transported to Linn County Jail. Dodge cited and released.

7:51 p.m. – Michael Grant Duncan, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 900 block of 13th. Caller had reported her ex showing up with a female who had assaulted the caller, so the caller assaulted her back. Caller wished to pursue charges. The other party did not wish to pursue charges. Report to be submitted to city attorney. A male was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant.

9:38 p.m. – Marcus Wesley Hesson, 47, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 1200 block of 23rd. Caller had reported that a male might have been beating up his sister. Officer unable to locate female. A male was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant.

9:46 p.m. – David Arroyo-Sandoval, 38, arrested for restraining order violation, 1500 block of 47th. Arroyo-Sandoval transported to Linn County Jail.

July 18

12:25 a.m. – Diana Lynn Hall, 62, turned herself in on Linn County warrant for failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

1:08 a.m. – Joey Dwayne Persinger, 26, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, 1800 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:32 a.m. – Caller reported people were camping behind a building, 4200 block of Main. Officer responded. The people were planning to move into the yard of a neighbor who agreed to have them temporarily.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported bags of cans worth $80 stolen, 3100 block of Main. Report taken.

1:13 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog was running loose on his property, 4200 block of Long. Officer unable to locate dog. Officer contacted a female at the neighbor’s residence. The neighbor advised that the dog did not belong there.

2:04 p.m. – Caller found a set of keys and a padlock, 42nd and Long. Placed in found property.

2:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone left a bicycle, Clark Mill ponds. Placed in found property.

4:40 p.m. – Caller reported items taken from a work truck, 200 block of 10th. Information noted.

5:19 p.m. – Caller flagged down an officer to report a trespass, 1800 block of Tamarack. Report taken.

9:24 p.m. – Austin Jones, 23, arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and felony possession of heroin, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree burglary, Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, eastbound from the west city limits. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a pickup unable to maintain lane.

July 17

3:32 a.m. – Officer referred two juveniles to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Juveniles released to guardians.

7:43 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had set up camp on library property, 1101 13th Ave. Officer contacted a male and female. The male was excluded from all city property for 30 days. The female was trespassed from the library.

9:28 a.m. – Caller reported a female consumed food in the store without paying for it, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer located the female and trespassed her from the store.

9:31 a.m. – Caller reported two aggressive dogs in her front yard, 3500 block of Juniper. Officer contacted the owner, who said they got out due to construction on the house. He was warned for dog at large.

9:36 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 25, cited for driving while suspended and arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of unlawful possession of fireworks and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 2200 block of Long.

9:37 a.m. – Caller found a credit card, 5400 block of Main. Item placed in found property.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported falling victim to a scam, 1800 block of 18th. Information noted.

10:27 a.m. – Caller requested a person who was sleeping in back of the building be trespassed, 1105 Main St. Officer trespassed a female from the property.

12:40 p.m. – Robert Dwayne Pollock, 45, arrested for harassment and on Brownsville warrant for contempt of court, 1500 block of 12th. Cited and released.

2:54 p.m. – Dwayne Hershel Flesher, 45, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and providing false information to a police officer and Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

5:25 p.m. – Caller reported finding an abandoned bike frame behind 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug, and a motor home parked for a couple of days. The caller was concerned that people were camping in it. Officer contacted multiple subjects and issued trespass warnings.

7:42 p.m. – Caller turned in a phone found at 22nd and Main. Phone placed in found property.

10:31 p.m. – Caller reported two homeless people had moved into the kickball pit on the playground, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights.

11:44 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle taken from behind Subway, 1280 10th Ave., while he was working. Report taken.

July 16

1:29 a.m. – Caller reported hearing an alarm in the area for the previous couple of hours, 3200 block of Main. Officer located the alarm from something in a bag of trash. The officer moved it around and the alarm ceased.

4:25 a.m. – Caller reported dogs had been barking for the previous half hour, waking up the caller’s children, 1283 44th Ave., Wagon Wheel. Officer checked the park and surrounding area. Unable to locate.

7:35 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered a vehicle and stole multiple tools, 44800 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

11:29 a.m. – Darrell George Berrigan, 46, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a customer left a credit card, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Placed in found property.

1:15 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 48, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog showed up and attacked her chickens, 2000 block of Ames Creek. Officer located the dog’s residence and released it to a juvenile there. Caller located the second dog later.

3:28 p.m. – Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 39, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and strangulation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:43 p.m. – Caller reported that someone ran into her vehicle while it was parked at Foster Lake Market on July 13, 5401 Main St. Report taken.

3:58 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles assaulted her son, 1000 block of 2nd. Officer located one of the juveniles, counseled him and trespassed him. Officer to locate second juvenile later.

4:25 p.m. – Adam Jay Lamb, 41, cited for dog at large, 1100 lock of 32nd.

4:55 p.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County.

5:29 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog attacked the caller’s dog, 1200 block of Sunset. Officer contacted both parties, who agreed to work it out civilly.

5:33 p.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 50, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

5:59 p.m. – Caller reported a male’s dog had just attacked her vehicle, 800 block of 7th. Officer contacted and counseled the male per the caller’s wishes.

6:59 p.m. – Kevin Ray Porter, 49, arrested for fourth-degree assault, harassment, resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer, 1901 Kalmia St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported his roommate assaulting the caller.

7:21 p.m. – Caller reported a male beating the windows out of a small truck, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer contacted the male, who said it was his truck. He was warned for disorderly conduct and offensive littering. He cleaned up the mess.

8:05 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 45900 block of Old Hufford. A westbound 2010 Suburban collided with a 1995 Chevy van. An 88-year-old passenger was taken via private vehicle to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital for minor injuries. No citations issued.

8:47 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle dropped off a male to go into a known drug house and the vehicle was circling the block, 22nd and Long. Officer contacted and warned the driver for traffic violations. Driver consented to a search. Officer located meth pipes.

9:42 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 31, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and four counts of failure to appear, 2200 block of Main.

10:40 p.m. – Shane Jeffery Steinbacher, 45, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 4400 block of Citabria.

July 15

10:20 a.m. – Caller reported a brown pit bull chasing bicyclists, Main Street at the Wiley Creek bridge. Officer unable to locate.

10:55 a.m. – Caller reported that a male was selling drugs in front of children, 1200 block of 44th. Officer contacted the male in question. Information noted.

1:03 p.m. – Colby James De-cleve, 25, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 12th and Spruce.

1:53 p.m. – Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend was calling her and her mother and refused to stop, 1400 block of Sunset. The caller said she had his phone number blocked, but he changes his number. Report taken.

2:17 p.m. – Post Office staff located a stray dog, 46th and Airport Lane. Officer unable to locate.

2:29 p.m. – Elisha Marie Adams, 38, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Albany.

2:47 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles were messing with building materials at the playground, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights Elementary. Officer contacted and counseled the juveniles for their actions. Equipment was returned to where it was supposed to be. No damage observed.

3:49 p.m. – Caller reported someone left a full-sized refrigerator behind the building, 3037 Main St., Farmer’s Insurance. Report taken.

4:38 p.m. – Caller reported a male going door to door selling a service without a license or permit, 400 block of Strawberry Loop. Officer contacted the male and advised him to obtain a peddler’s permit if he planned to continue going door to door.

6:47 p.m. – Caller reported a male went onto the mill property and was sitting on the ground, 2200 block of Main. Officer responded and contacted a male and female who were about to set up camp. They were advised they could not camp there.

7:51 p.m. – Three callers reported a male threw a dog in a ditch and attempted to hang it by a leash, Airport Road and 49th. Officer unable to locate the male.

8:07 p.m. – Jacob Lynn Goodwin, 24, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.
