11:56 a.m. – Caller reported two young teens climbed over a fence into a neighbor’s backyard and then left on foot, 1100 block of Spruce. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate. The neighbor’s property appeared secure.
12:08 p.m. – Caller reported that a black sports car passing her hit her vehicle, causing damage, 2000 block of Main. Unknown description of the other driver or vehicle. Information noted.

2:50 a.m. – Elora Dawn Mason, 18, arrested for minor in possession of alcohol, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released. Caller reported finding a student with alcohol.
8:38 a.m. – Caller reported that a 14-year-old boy was walking home when a man in a silver pickup offered him a ride, Quartzville and North River. The boy declined, but the man became insistent. The boy hit an alarm on his Apple watch, and the man drove away. Report taken.
9:51 a.m. – Caller reported six chickens were in his yard that are not his and he did not know where they came from, 4600 block of Kalmia. Officer contacted the caller. No harm, no foul. Chickens flew the coop while officers checked with a few neighbors for the chickens’ owners. Unable to locate owners or chickens.
10:57 a.m. – Caller reported items taken from the back of his pickup, 500 block of 4th. Report taken. Loss valued at $295.

2:52 p.m. – Caller reported responding to a Cragislist ad for a rental and the house had a “for sale” sign in the yard, 700 block of 7th. Determined to be a scam. No money lost.
3:02 p.m. – Caller reported a dog jumped out of a neighbor’s yard and attacked the caller and his daughter, 5600 block of Larch. Caller wanted owner counseled. A female left with the dog.
5:56 p.m. – Nicholas Gregory Godell, 35, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for possession of meth, Northside Park. Caller had reported a Mazda truck parked with a camper on a trailer for three hours. The caller said it looked like people were staying in it. License plate seized and returned to DMV.
6:12 p.m. – Caller reported two vehicles had been parked on the street for approximately two years, 900 block of 15th. One vehicle posted for removal.

8:23 p.m. – Caller found an injured falcon near Green Peter Lake. Officer responded. The bird appeared to have an old gunshot wound. Officer advised the caller to take it to a wildlife rescue facility in Corvallis.

9:01 a.m. – Sonya McKendree, 50, arrested for possession of meth and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver, 3134 Main St., Green Tree manufactured home park. Cited and released.
9:47 a.m. – Caller found a syringe, 800 block of Main. Officer disposed of the syringe.
1:56 p.m. – Caller reported the fraudulent use of a credit card, 200 block of W. Holley. Officer responded. Caller requested only that the information be documented and subjects counseled.
2:54 p.m. – Caller reported a silver Honda changing lanes in front of her, forcing the caller to have to slam on her brakes, eastbound Highway 20 from The Narrows. The caller said the vehicle sped off going about 100 mph then turned onto 4th Avenue. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.
3:02 p.m. – Johnny Widerman, 31, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, 49th and Mimosa. Caller had reported a male sleeping in a Dodge pickup parked there.

8:38 a.m. – Caller reported that her account was accessed with a debit card stolen a day earlier at Foster Lake, 44500 block of Quartzville. Her purse had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Report taken.

11:43 p.m. – Caller found a male and female on his property, 1800 block of Tamarack. When he confronted them, they said they were at the wrong house. After they left, the caller saw them going up to other people’s houses. Officer responded and checked the area. Unable to locate. Officer contacted the caller and advised him to call back if he sees them again.
