The Sweet Home City Council approved a supplemental budget allowing the Police Department to spend up to $15,500 from the city’s Narcotics Fund to replace a vehicle used by its detective.
The Narcotics Fund uses money obtained through seizures and equipment sales.
Police Chief Jeff Lynn told the council that the detective’s current vehicle was no longer operational.
