12:15 a.m. – Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment.

Jan. 26

1:27 a.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 22, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of heroin and meth, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and failure to appear, Linn County warrant for pobation violation on original charges of identity theft and second-degree theft, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree forgery and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 4220 Highway 20. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:04 a.m. – Caller reported a Jeep parked on a walking path, Osage and 45th. Officer contacted two subjects who had pulled over to sleep in their vehicle. They moved along.

12:18 p.m. – Jarrod Robert Mendonca, 22, cited for speeding and driving while suspended, Main and Clark Mill.

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported mail stolen by a subject on a bicycle, 1000 block of Cedar. A neighbor caught the theft on video. Report taken.

5:07 p.m. – Darrell Loren Schilling, 50, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, failure to carry proof of insurance and open container, Dollar General.

5:20 p.m. – Officer located dogs at large, 1200 block of 47th. Officer warned owne.

5:37 p.m. – John Gordon, 47, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County.

5:46 p.m. – Caller reported two horses in the roadway, 39200 block of Highway 228. Caller tried to keep them away from traffic, and they ran into a filbert orchard. Deputy contacted the residents, who said the horses were probably theirs and they would corral them.

9:15 p.m. – Ryan Krause (Adelman), arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 6000 block of Main. Cited and released.

Jan. 25

6:22 a.m. – Caller reported that a dog chases her every time she tries to leave her residence, 1600 block of 11th. Prior to officer arrival, she was able to get into her vehicle and leave. Office contacted and warned the owner for dog at large.

8:06 a.m. – Michelle Carpenter, 48, cited for driving while suspended, Mountain View and Ames Creek. Vehicle impounded.

9:41 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his radio, 4100 block of Osage. Report taken. Loss valued at $299.

11:16 a.m. – Amy Danielle Ward, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1300 block of Main. Cited and released.

1:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a former neighbor drove onto the property and spun a vehicle on a grassy area causing large clumps of mud to be thrown onto his RV, shop and boat, 43000 block of North River. Report taken.

1:38 p.m. – Caller reported two stray pit bulls charged her, 4800 block of Main. Officer located the dogs at a nearby residence. Officer contacted the owner and advised her of the complaint. It appeared the dogs escaped through a hole in the fence.

2:16 p.m. – Caller reported he believed his phone had been hacked, 800 block of 8th. Officer advised him of his options.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1100 block of Mountain View. Officer located the animal and returned him to his yard, but the yard was not secure. No answer at the residence. Voice mail left for the owner.

6:14 p.m. – Caller reported her daughter was assaulted at school, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High.

9:17 p.m. – Robert Joseph Dandurand, 51, cited for driving while suspended, and Tiffany Ann Evenhus, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 2400 block of Main. Evenhus released as time served on supervisory warrant because no female beds were available at Linn County Jail.

9:31 p.m. – Melissa Jean Ackley, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 43000 block of North River.

Jan. 24

2:02 a.m – Caller reported her husband witnessed a cougar 10 minutes earlier coming from the railroad onto Safeway property. Officer unable to locate.

8:06 a.m. – Kelsey Ann Wray, 26, cited for speeding, 700 block of Long.

9:08 p.m. – Austin Wayne Sater, 29, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Cited and released.

9:53 a.m. – Caller found a chainsaw lying near the road, 600 block of Mountain View. Placed in found property.

10:23 a.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 30, cited for driving while suspended and altered license plates and arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and failure to appear on a citation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:39 a.m. – Caller wanted to know her options regarding a male who was stalking her daughter at Safeway, 1540 Main St. Officer contacted the caller and advised her of options. Information noted.

2:58 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 18th and Long. Report taken.

4:54 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 30, cited for driving while suspended, 1200 block of 23rd. Drug detection dog alerted to items in the vehicle. Items seized.

4:55 p.m. – Nathan Allen Deffenbaugh, 42, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

10:07 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken. Loss valued at $140.

Jan. 23

7:03 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose, Juniper and 3rd. Officer unable to locate.

8:28 a.m. – Caller reported that VA benefits were being routed to an out-of-state bank, 2600 block of Harding. Information noted. Caller to contact the VA.

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported a truck and trailer were not returned by driver, 1100 block of 38th. Report taken.

10:08 a.m. – Hazardous vehicle towed, 2300 block of Main.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reported a female just hit her in the forehead, 1100 block of 29th. Report taken.

10:26 a.m. – Gerlinde Spring Lynch, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County.

11:35 a..m. – Caller reported that she received information that a student threatened a student at another school via Snapchat, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Officer assisted in investigation and threat assessment.

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported seven to 10 boys smoking, 1600 block of Long. Officer contacted a large group and walked them back to campus. A search did not reveal any signs of tobacco.

1:12 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking down the center of the highway yelling at cars, 2000 block of Main. Officer contacted the subject and counseled him for his actions.

2:38 p.m. – Darrell Loren Schilling, 50, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1300 block of Clark Mill.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a red and blue Honda 250R three-wheeler, 28700 block of Liberty. Report taken.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported two checks totaling $341 were fraudulently written from his account, 38200 block of Mountain Home. Report taken.

5:44 p.m. – Caller reported a female was putting rocks into the caller’s son’s backpack while he was walking to school, 18th and Long. No apparent crime. Information noted.

6:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a male with a black hoodie and in possession of a knife tackled the caller off his bicycle and was trespassing behind Lester Sales. Officer unable to locate anyone in the area.

7:25 p.m. – Caller reported five cars in the Key Bank parking lot and everyone out screaming at each other. Report taken to be forwarded to the city attorney. Officer contacted the involved parties and attempted resolution.

8:58 p.m. – Caller reported that a male may have stolen a bicycle from behind Circle K, 2405 Main St. Officer contacted the male who took the bike home. He thought it was abandoned there after several days. Bicycle seized as found property.

Jan. 22

8:15 a.m. – Caller reported a transient camp, 2200 block of Tamarack. Officer responded and located an unoccupied tent.

8:20 a.m. – Caller reported a man in a tree not moving, 18th and Willow. Officer responded responded and found a mannequin in a tree. Caller advised.

10:13 a.m. – Caller reported a dog wandering loose in the area, 2nd and Highway 228. Officer unable to locate.

10:20 a.m. – Jordan Nicole Swanson, 28, turned herself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:54 p.m. – A 13-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High.

2:44 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been asked to leave was refusing, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer responded. The male had left and was trespassed from the location.

5:05 p.m. – Mitch Levi Carter, 28, cited for no seatbelt, 1800 block of Long.

7:44 p.m. – Launa Michelle Periman, 45, cited for failure to yield right of way, 3100 block of Main.

10:23 p.m. – Andrea Gali, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

Jan. 21

9:03 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole a soda, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate the male.

11:04 a.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 30, turned himself in on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:22 a.m. – Joshua Dawson, 40, arrested on multiple warrants and first-degree criminal trespass, 41200 block of Highway 228.

12:56 p.m. – Joshua Scott Dawson, 40, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit an awning and drove away, 1364 Main St. Awning had been damaged in the past. Unknown if there was any new damage. Officer to watch for the suspect vehicle.

3:45 p.m. – Caller reported that a transient male was on her son’s front porch, 3100 block of Main. Officer contacted and trespassed the male, who moved along.

7:48 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle went into a ditch, 60th Ave-nue near the dam. She needed a report for the tow company. Officer responded. No signs of impairment or property damage. No injuries.

Jan. 20

4:33 a.m. – Caller reported a Barnes and Noble account had been compromised, 1800 block of 18th. Investigation pending.

Jan. 19

8:12 a.m. – Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 39, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1101 13th Ave.

8:25 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree theft and a new charge of possession of heroin, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle hit his daughter’s car during the night, 1300 block of 1st. Vehicle had little to no damage. Caller asked that the information be noted for now.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle rear-ended her vehicle the previous night, 1000 block of Main. Report taken. No injuries.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole beer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the male and trespassed him from the store. Unknown if management will want to pursue theft charges. Caller will find out and advise later.

2:51 p.m. – Caller found two syringes in a flower bed, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Officer disposed of the items.

3:50 p.m. – Paul William Donaldson, 54, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 23rd and Long.

8:01 p.m. – Michelle Carpenter, 48, cited for driving while suspended, 23rd and Main.
