Nov. 9

4:45 a.m. – Elisha Marie Adams, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, 1000 block of North River.

5:18 a.m. – Caller reported that she had video of someone entering her garage and taking something, 1700 block of 9th. The garage did not have doors on it. Report taken.

Nov. 8

1:24 a.m. – Caller caught a male in the storage area and the fence was cut, 2425 Main St. Officer unable to locate the male, who ran west through the field. Report taken.

7:36 a.m. – Caller reported a male standing outside with a compound bow, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer responded and contacted a male who was trying to use a child’s bow to knock down a drone that was stuck in a tree.

7:54 a.m. – Two juveniles referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco, 1800 block of Kalmia.

8:01 a.m. – Caller reported that someone may have tried to break in, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Glass had been broken out. Report taken. Loss valued at $800.

8:27 a.m. – Caller reported that a male who was shooting a bow then started using a slingshot and was hitting the building with rocks, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

10:56 a.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle had been parked on the street for two months, 1800 block of Kalmia. Vehicle posted for removal. Officer contacted the resident, who advised the vehicle would be moved to the driveway.

2:29 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a vehicle, 1100 block of 29th. Report taken.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 48800 block of Quartzville. The driver drove off the road while negotiating a curve. No property damage. No injuries.

7:53 p.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 30, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Linn County Jail.

Nov. 7

12:15 a.m. – Caller reported a cougar just ran through the park, Sankey Park. The caller said it went south up the hill in the park.

3:50 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle was left in his driveway, 1700 block of Long. Placed in found property.

4:27 a.m. – Brittny Ann Mahlee Gibson, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 5300 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:10 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered her vehicle and took several tools, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $3,000.

10:25 a.m. – Caller reported a male with warrants was trying to avoid the police and dropped a backpack, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Officer checked the area. Male was gone upon arrival. Backpack seized and placed in evidence as found property.

10:55 a.m. – Caller reported that a stray dog keeps trying to get into her yard, 100 block of 7th. Dog returned home. Owner warned for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.

11:40 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a battery and other items from his truck, 4300 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.

12:33 p.m. – Callers reported damaged and stolen property, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken. Caller and his wife were in a verbal altercation over what she did to his truck. The dispute was verbal only during an exchange of children. Both parties reported the damage and stolen property.

1:28 p.m. – Caller reported that a male juvenile was allowed to stay at a house with his father present, 800 block of Alder. The father had a no-contact order. Information noted. Investigation continuing.

Nov. 6

12:32 a.m. – Shannon Marie Richards, 45, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of misdemeanor driving while suspended and second-degree child neglect, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:25 a.m. – Linn County and Sweet Home police pursued a motorcycle east on Highway 20. Pursuit terminated after losing sight of the motorcycle at Highway 20 and Fairview.

9:10 a.m. – Caller reported her fiance’s ex-wife posted a video on Facebook saying she was going to have people kill the caller, 1200 block of 46th. Officer contacted the female in question and advised her of the complaint. She agreed to remove the video. Officer warned her for harassment.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a T-Mobile account in her name approximately five years ago without her knowledge, 1300 block of 47th. Report taken. Information noted.

10:37 a.m. – Melony Irene Shockman, 44, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County Jail.

11:44 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog just showed up, 4400 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported catching a female trying to break into cars, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer contacted the female and trespassed her from all school property. She planned to catch the next bus to Albany.

12:38 p.m. – Caller reported a female went into the bathroom and messed it up, 880 18th Ave., Jim Riggs Community Center. This was the second occurrence. Officer trespassed the female from the location. Caller supplied her with a bus ticket to Albany. She was given permission to be there until the bus arrived.

3:53 p.m. – Renee Ruth Carr, 53, arrested on two Linn County warrants, 45900 block of Highway 20. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:46 p.m. – Timothy Tyrell Combs, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1200 block of 45th. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male was in a ditch with a dog and he was threatening to kill it because it bit his child.

11:11 p.m. – Caller reported that she could hear a dog screeching, 18th and Willow. Officer unable to locate any dogs in the area.

Nov. 5

2:13 a.m. – Tamera K. Krause, 57, cited for no license, and Shawn Stanley Pruitt, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on three original charges of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 2200 block of Main. Cited and released. Drug detection dog alerted on the vehicle. Items seized. Investigation continuing.

7:25 a.m. – Caller reported a female camped in the doorway, 1195 Main St., Edward Jones. She asked the caller if she could go into the building, when he refused, she started yelling at him. Officer responded. Female was leaving upon arrival.

10:33 a.m. – Caller found an EBT card, 55th and Main. Placed in found property.

3:19 p.m. – Caller reported her husband was just hit by the mirror of a vehicle, 1000 block of Long. Officer contacted all parties involved and assisted in exchange of information. No apparent injuries. Caller’s husband planned to go to urgent care to be checked out.

3:21 p.m. – Austin Reed Stevens, 19, cited for speeding, 51 mph in a 25-mph zone, 18th and Main.

4:57 p.m. – Caller reported 14 vehicles headed toward the old mill property off Clark Mill. Officer contacted approximately 25 juveniles and advised them they were trespassing on private property. They agreed to leave the area.

5:04 p.m. – Justin Ray Gomez, 26, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County.

7:36 p.m. – Mikel Vincent Lizama, 39, arrested for invasion of privacy, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park.

8:20 p.m. – Caller reported someone set up camp in front of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel, 1443 Long St. Officer contacted a male and advised him to gather his belongings and move on.

10:27 p.m. – Sharon Lynn Schwab, 45, cited for no license and driving uninsured, Main Street near Napa. Vehicle impounded.

11:23 p.m. – Caller reported a cougar just went into Northside Park. Officer unable to locate.

Nov. 4

10:20 a.m. – Caller found a needle on the ground, 1200 block of Long. Officer disposed of the item.

11:42 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original two charges of second-degree criminal trespass and one original count of second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of menacing, possession of meth, attempted fourth-degree assault and failure to appear, 2300 block of Zelkova. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into a garage and tools were missing, 200 block of W. Holley. Report taken.

5:07 p.m. – A 17-year-old juvenile taken into custody on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of minor in possession of marijuana, 2400 block of Long. Cited and released.

5:40 p.m. – Joshua Scott Dawson, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

6:46 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $60 in items, 5480 Main St., Foster Lake Mall. Report taken.

7:36 p.m. – Caller reported a dog bit her brother, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufacted home park. Brother transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics. Dog was deceased upon officer arrival. Report forwarded to Linn County district attorney.

Nov. 3

12:19 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered his son’s unsecured vehicle and took items, 3000 block of Main. Report taken.

5:43 a.m. – Caller reported the neighbor’s dog was in her house when she woke up, 1100 block of 29th. Owner was not currently home. Officer responded. The dog was temporarily secured in the neighbor’s yard. Dispatch contacted a male by phone. The male advised that relatives had been staying at the location with the dog. The male later responded to care for the dog.

4:01 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs were dropped off at Circle K, 2405 Main St. Dogs placed in kennel.

7:56 p.m. – Elijah Otta Jackson Koechig, 20, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 700 block of Long.

11:06 pm. – Sean Michael Finkelstein, 34, arrested for felony fourth-degree assault, 1700 block of Fir. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported two females and a couple of kids crying and asking someone to call the police.

11:39 p.m – Caller reported seeing three cougars across the street from her residence, 5th and Oak Terrace. Officer unable to locate. Message left with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Nov. 2

1:24 a.m. – Hunter Areil Ringheimer, 25, arrested on a state warrant for parole violation and a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 2200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:13 a.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 30, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 4300 block of Osage. Caller had reported a male and his dog chasing a deer in her backyard. Officer responded and contacted a male who was walking his dog when his dog got away from him. Officer warned the male for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.

8:36 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole the deed to her property, 1100 block of 4th. Information noted. Caller advised of options.

9:46 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping in front of a building, 1223 Kalmia St., Sweet Home Genealogical Library. Officer contacted a female who admitted to sleeping there. Officer warned her for trespassing.

11:47 a.m. – Caller found letters that did not belong to her in her mailbox, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Placed in found property.

3:26 p.m. – Charas Lelainia Blanco, 45, turned in herself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

4:04 p.m. – Caller reported a big brown dog running loose in the street making all the dogs bark, 7th and Elm. Officer located the dog. Placed in kennel. Owner to be cited when dog is claimed.

4:14 p.m. – Caller reported that her son rode his scooter to school the previous day, and he went to get it in the evening, the construction gates were closed and locked, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. When he returned in the morning, it was gone. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor hit the caller’s mobile home, 1200 block of 44th. Information exchanged.

5:08 p.m. – Caller found a backpack in his yard, 1000 block of 15th. Placed in found property.

6:24 p.m. – Katie Powell, 39, cited for dog at large. Dog released to owner.

8:14 p.m. – Caller reported that two males tried to assault the caller, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Officer contacted males. Verbal. No crime. Unknown who the other people involved were as they had left in a white Datsun truck.

9:22 p.m. – Caller reported seeing two cougars, 9th and train track. Officer unable to locate.

Nov. 1

7:54 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a three-vehicle crash, 23rd and Main. Report taken. No injuries. One vehicle towed.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported a pontoon boat blocking public right-of-way, 300 block of Taylor Creek. Boat tagged for removal on Nov. 6.

10:16 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for approximately three weeks and a trailer parked by it was sticking into the roadway, 1200 block of Main. Officer contacted the owner of the trailer who refused to move it at the time. It was not a traffic hazard. Tagged for removal on Nov. 5.

12:02 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle and stole her pistol, 3300 block of Juniper. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

1:07 p.m. – A 17-year-old referred to Juvenile Department for unlawful possession of MDMA and minor in possession of tobacco, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

1:35 p.m. – Public Works reported finding an illegal water connection, 3600 block of Green River. Information noted. Unknown how long the connection had been there.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported transients sleeping at Sweet Home Evangelical Church, 1347 Long St. Officer trespassed a 30-year-old female.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a motor from his boat, 1400 block of Tamarack. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,500.

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s goat was in his yard and wouldn’t leave, 1200 block of Tamarack. Officer responded. Nearby residents had the goat under control. The owner sent someone to retrieve the animal.

5:13 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been barking all day, 2400 block of Harding. Officer unable to reach the owner of the dog. Dog was quiet upon officer arrival.

6:22 p.m. – Jim Joseph Vanecek, 45, arrested on Marion County warrant for two counts of first-degree rape. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:42 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been barking all day, Evergreen and West Pine. No one was at home. A family member took care of the dog.

11:27 p.m. – Artie James Ray, 39, arrested on Washington Department of Corrections warrant for escape and possession of a controlled substance, 1600 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
