April 29

11:27 a.m. – Caller reported that a male was sending inappropriate photos and videos through Instagram to her 11-year-old daughter, 1700 block of 12th. Officer helped parents block and report the account. The parents would continue to monitor the account and call back if there are more issues.

12:25 p.m. – Jefferson Warren Davis, 36, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany.

1:16 p.m. – Thomas Gaylen Drown, 68, cited and released in field for harassment, 1015 Nandina St. Caller had reported her stepfather slapping her in the face during a confrontation.

1:52 p.m. – Caller found a black wallet with license and debit cards, Green Peter. Placed in found property.

2:17 p.m. – Caller reported lending a vehicle to a friend and the friend would not return it. Report taken. Caller advised to sign a form for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

7:47 p.m. – Caller found two syringes while cleaning up her house, 500 block of 9th. Officer disposed of them.

8:21 p.m. – Andrea Michelle Gali, 37, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 900 block of Long.

8:33 p.m. – Taylor Austin Templeton, 23, cited for misdemeanor driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 18th and Main.

9:14 p.m. – Daniel Oliver O’Neal, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment and Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on a criminal citation and for contempt of court and probation violation, 2293 Long St. Transported to Lebanon Police Department. Caller had reported a male stealing money from her son. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

10:45 p.m. – James Brian Tidwell, 59, cited for driving while suspended, 1000 block of Main.

April 28

3:43 a.m. – Caller reported a dog had been barking outside all night, 1100 block of 24th. Officer contacted the owner, who is hard of hearing and couldn’t hear the dog. The owner brought the dog inside.

6:23 a.m. – Caller reported a male possibly sleeping in a neighbor’s carport, 800 block of 2nd. Officer contacted the male as he was walking away. Male advised of complaint and moving on.

7:18 a.m. – Julia Anne Payne, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

8 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running in and out of the store, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. Dog left prior to officer arrival.

8:23 a.m. – Caller reported that a male came to her residence stating there were 30 people after him, 1200 block of 44th. Officer responded and contacted the male, who was having some sleep issues and was not a candidate for a police officer mental hold. He said he would call if he needed further assistance.

12:26 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her business, 4320 block of Main St. No entry made into the business. Report taken for attempted burglary and criminal mischief. Damage valued at $75.

1:33 p.m. – Nicholas Scott Warren, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 604 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a mailbox and spun it around, 100 block of W. Holley Road. Caller was able to turn it back the right way. Officer responded. No sign it was hit by a vehicle, but two mailboxes were damaged.

4:32 p.m. – Oregon State Police reported a firearms denial, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Investigation continuing.

11:26 p.m. – Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital reported a patient showed up with a gunshot wound from the 1300 block of Sunset. Officer responded. Report taken. Investigation continuing. Further details unavailable at this time.

April 27

1:23 a.m. – A 13-year-old, 14-year-old and 16-year-old referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and curfew violation, Mountain View and 22nd. All three released to parents and guardians.

8:30 a.m. – Caller found another battery stolen and damage to a door, 1400 24th Ave, Sweet Home Public Works. Information noted.

8:58 p..m. – Caller reported a silver SUV with no plates parked in the 1500 block of Main. Officer responded. Vehicle was legally parked. Officer contacted the registered owner, who was aware the vehicle was at the location and planned to have a licensed driver move it later in the day.

10:09 a.m. – Caller found a Washington license plate on a garbage can, 2200 block of Main.

10:24 am. – Caller reported three bicycles stolen during the previous three days, 1700 block of 12th. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

10:57 a.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 28000 block of Fern Ridge. Caller reported the theft of several vehicle titles and 10 cell phones. Report taken.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported a missing front license plate, 28700 block of Ridgeway. Deputy told the caller to surrender the other plate to the Division of Motor Vehicles. Report taken.

2:40p.m. – Caller reported a male subject going through the caller’s trash can, 11100 block of 29th. Officer contacted the male and advised him to move along.

4:21 p.m. – Caller reported that one of her missing cats has been adopted out by Petco, and two others are listed on an adoption site, 1300 block of 53rd. Investigation continuing.

5:15 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left parked in front of the caller’s truck, 2200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

5:20 p.m. – Caller reported a window broken out of the caller’s car, 2424 Main St., Starlite Apartments. May have happened while the lawn was being mowed. Investigation continuing.

5:51 p.m. – Caller found a small black Lab, Highway 20 in the The Narrows. Placed in kennel. Dog had a chip.

7:28 p.m. – Michael Scott Seiber, 38, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and illegal display of license plates, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer seized switched license plates from the vehicle.

April 26

3:53 a.m. – Ariel Shanea Kaping, 24, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of lost or mislaid property, 23rd and Main.

6:09 a.m. – Caller reported that she went to Circle K with $20 and lost it, 2405 Main St. She asked the clerk to check the cameras, and he did not find anything. Officer responded. The money was located and returned to the caller.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported a possible gang sign spray painted on the sidewalk, 3000 block of Juniper. Officer responded. The name “Natalie” was written on the sidewalk in chalk.

10:04 a.m. – Caller reported a safe stolen from a trailer a couple of nights previously, 1100 block of 38th. Report taken. Loss valued at $175.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported vehicles parked on the corner of 44th and Live Oak causing a hazard when entering the street, 4400 block of Live Oak. Officer responded. Vehicles were on private property causing a hazard somewhat. The owner said the owner would work on moving vehicles to the driveway.

11:18 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of chains and a tool, 800 block of 50th. Report taken.

12:09 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a 4000-watt generator, 28000 block of Fern Ridge. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.

12:32 p.m. – Caller reported a male defecated on the bleachers and attempted to steal wood, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer reviewed surveillance and determined the subject was a student. School handled discipline.

12:37 p.m. – Caller reported that a female was standing in a driveway, 800 block of Poplar. She said she was waiting on her husband. The caller then saw a male walk out of the bushes. Both were seen walking toward Main Street on 9th Avenue. Caller said a neighbor had cameras stolen at the time of the call. Officer unable to locate subjects. Neighbor did not want to pursue charges and just wanted the cameras back if the subjects were located.

1:07 p.m. – Caller found a drone in the backyard, 1900 block of Long. Placed in found property.

2:22 p.m. – Bennie Lee Bell, 38, arrested on Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charges of driving under the influence and recklessly endangering another person and probation violation on original charge of harassment and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 5601 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported an uncle who was intoxicated all day and harassing the caller. The caller protected himself with a stick. A second caller reported that his nephew hit him with a stick. No injuries. Neither wanted to pursue charges.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported batteries stolen from vehicles, 1400 24th Ave., Sweet Home Public Works. Report taken.

9:13 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked off and on for several days in the City Hall parking lot. Officer contacted two persons in the vehicle and advised them of the complaint. They moved along.

11:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a male went behind the bar and stole tip money, 1025 Main St., Bohemian. Report taken. Loss valued at more than $100.

11:39 p.m. – Caller reported someone sleeping in the lobby, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Officer contacted a male and advised him to move along.

April 25

10:15 a.m. – Caller found a stray dog, 600 block of Mountain View. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control advised.

10:39 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a $1,700 log splitter, 25100 block of Brush Creek. Report taken.

11:01 a.m. – Caller reported a male hiding behind dumpsters, 2200 block of Ames Creek. Officer located a male and trespassed him from the property.

11:32 a.m. – A 2004 Ford F350 reported stolen from Marion County recovered, 28200 block of Harmony.

11:36 a.m. – Caller found an EBT card, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Placed in found property.

11:55 a.m. – Frederico Birkey, 25, arrested on warrants for contempt of court and failure to appear, Crawfordsville Drive and Scott Mountain Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:57 a.m. – Two 16-year-old juveniles for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported that two juveniles who took items last week were in the store. Value of theft was $36.66. Both were trespassed from Safeway.

12:49 p.m. – Caller brought in items that had been left in Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St., during the past month. Placed in found property.

1:30 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter caught on a video, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Report taken.

2:44 p.m. – Caller reported a glass panel shattered when someone threw a rock at the menu board, 1364 Main St., Dairy Queen. Report taken.

2:48 p.m. – Caller reported two bicycles stolen, 1100 block of Poplar. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

5:18 p.m. – Adam J. Lamb, 40, cited for driving uninsured, 900 block of Oak Terrace.

5:50 p.m. – Caller found a syringe and bagged white powder in a public restroom, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Seized for destruction.

7:54 p.m. – Caller reported that she had a bat in her garage and small children in her household, 1300 block of Tamarack. Officer responded. Unable to locate bat. Officer explained how the caller could secure the garage to prevent the bat from getting inside.

April 24

5:29 a.m. – Stephanie Lee Suzanne Lainus, 23, cited for speeding, west city limits.

6:42 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle reported stolen out of Sweet Home, Harmony Road.

8:28 p.m. – Caller reported that someone cut through a chain-link fence, 1800 block of Main. Report taken. Damage valued at $20.

1:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a juvenile poured chocolate milk on her car, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller did not wish to pursue charges. She requested the juvenile be counseled and the information noted.

1:30 p.m. – Garen Gary Friedman, 48, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving, 10th and Long. Cited and released.

2:09 p.m. – Caller reported that a 16-year-old female had overdosed on medication, 2300 block of Main. Officer assisted medics and forwarded report to Department of Human Services.

2:50 p.m. – Ronnette Leeanne Robertson, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation (owed 10 days in jail), 2400 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 1400 block of Zelkova.

3:17 p.m. – Officer located a vehicle with barbecue sauce poured on it, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Information noted.

3:45 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in a vehicle that had been parked since the morning, City Hall parking lot. Officer responded. Dogs were OK but out of water. Message left for owner.

4:57 p.m. – Caller reported his daughter having issues with another student on the bus, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer contacted the caller and advised him of his options. Information forwarded to Department of Human Services.

6:23 p.m. – Andrew Christopher Jones, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

6:29 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was harassing his wife via phone concerning his dog barking, 1900 block of 19th. Information noted.

7:45 p.m. – Weston Donovan Thompson, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge minor in possession and probation violation, 18th and railroad tracks.

8 p.m. – Caller reported a female living next door illegally was leaving by the caller’s house, 2200 block of Larch. Information forwarded to code enforcement officer.

8:33 p.m. – Caller reported a handgun lying in the crosswalk, 12th and Long. BB gun seized.

8:57 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog had been barking nonstop for the previous hour, 22nd and Mountain View. Officer unable to locate any barking dogs.

10:31 p.m. – Stephen Anthony Schmidt, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Benton County. Cited and released.

10:48 pm. – Daniel Eugene McCarty, 28, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

April 23

8:42 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a vacant rental and wiring was torn from the attic, 4600 block of Mahogany. Report taken.

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for more than a year and grass was growing around it, 1200 block of 2nd. Posted for removal.

9:58 a.m. – Caller reported a Direct Express card stolen and money removed from the account without permission, 1800 block of Kalmia. Report taken. Loss valued at $90.

10:28 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into Reigning Glory church through the back door, 450 Oak Terrace. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

10:43 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking throughout the morning, 1200 block of 41st. Officer responded. Dog was not barking upon arrival. Officer left a business card on the door.

10:57 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors burning household trash daily in the backyard, 1600 block of Fir. Referred to code enforcement.

12:18 p.m. – Caller reported items taken over a period starting in December, 3600 block of Green River. Report taken. Electronics and appliances valued at $4,950.

12:48 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen, 4102 Main St., Cedar Shack. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

4:48 p.m. – Oregon State Police reported a firearm denial, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer responded. Investigation continuing.

4:58 p.m. – Caller reported a male trying to start a fight, 1100 block of 1st. Two males trespassed from two different properties.

8:08 p.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall Jr., 35, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1193 29th Ave.

8:16 p.m. – Caller reported an overdose, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Officer responded. Medics transported subject to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

8:34 p.m. – Jennifer Marlene Robertson, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County. Cited and released.

10:22 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking down the street trying to open car doors, 18th and Long. Officer responded. The male denied the activity and consented to a pat-down search. Nothing suspicious found. Male advised to head home.
