Casey Tow and Megan Hager are the 2017 Sweet Home High School Freshmen of the Year.
The award is decided by SHHS staff members based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and community involvement.
Both students ended the year with a 4.0 GPA. Both distinguished themselves in competitive sports, which they greatly enjoy, and both love learning. With their selection, both will be inducted next fall into the National Honor Society.
